Light Guns. Always love em, always will. The best were Namco's GunCon(PSX), Interact's Starfire(DC), and Konami's Justifier(Saturn).

the old nintendo pad -

they used to have games that were a consortium of track and field type of events. i was a little kid and thought that was pretty cool

as for steering wheels - no matter how good they are, they never capture that 'arcade' feel and so i usually stay away from em

Would definitely have to be the GunCon, used with any of the Point Blank games. Dead-on balls-to-the-wall accurate, and combined with the PB games, it's a great, fun gaming experience and is still one of the best party games around.

i had that thing, and it single handedly made me a not-fat kid...i used to use it for 5 hours a day, playing that stupid track and field game, but the best was when after weeks of training, i had to face cheetah, and i won...i was never so happy, but then i traded the pad for a powerglove...boy was i pissed...

Those vibrating packs.

Ohhhh you mean for gaming?

Always had a soft spot for the original Genesis controller.

Directional pad and three buttons. Nice and simple.

Multi-player adapters were the best! Back in the day when there were only 2 slots and you wanted to play something like Bomberman or Gauntlet, you needed it. And coming from a family of 4 boys, we had an adapter for every system.

The Flight Stick Pro for the 3DO was simply the best controller ever made for a console. Amazing to use on games like Return Fire, Wing Commander III, Need for Speed, and pretty much any other game that supported it.
