I just got my Playstation 2, and going through some review sites, I can't tell which games would qualify for the first person shooter category, any recommendations? Any like Goldeneye, Quake, etc?

Timesplitters was actually made by the same people that made Goldeneye. The singleplayer is pretty decent and there are some pretty challenging challenge modes, but the real fun is the multiplayer. If you get 4 people around a good sized tv you can have all sorts of fun. It's addictive as hell. You'll not realize that hours have gone by until it's too late. (You should probably rent before buying anyway, but) I thouroughly recommend it.

Ummmmm.... errrrrr... uhhhhhh... I think Timesplitters is a FPS... Unreal Tournament is available.... I think thats it.

Timesplitters is probably the better of the two due to it's originality and level editor.:)
