Despite the steady decline of the once prominent genre of classic adventures, I imagine there must be a great number of people still playing them. So which ones are your favorites?
Personal favorites:
[b]Monkey Island I
Myst
Indiana Jones and the fate of Atlantis

I love the adventure/puzzle type games that were at their best on the PC, but there were a few good console versions also. My favorites

Sega CD:
Secret of Monkey Island

3DO:
Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes
Myst

Saturn:
Lunacy

Playstation:
Echo Night
Riven

Secret of Monkey Island 1 & 2
Day of the Tentacle
Sam & Max Hit the Road
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
(yes, LucasArts was good at what it did)
King's Quest V

The first two I ever played: Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders (which really deserved a sequel when LucasArts was handing them out to every other one of their games) and Maniac Mansion.

Now those are just my favorites. If you wanted me to list all of them that I've played...

Myst and Riven were great. Currently the best adventure game out there is The Longest Journey. Check it out if you have a chance.

I must second The Longest Journey. Man o man I love that game. Very much in the spirit of the Kings Quest series, and it has a rather intriguing story to boot. I am really hoping that they make a sequel, and the make it real soon.

Grim Fandago is an awesome PC game. One of the best I ever played. Hopefull Lucasarts will bring it and the Monkey Island series to Xbox. My PC was too slow to run the new Monkey Island and I don't feel like upgrading anymore.
