Although I'm sure I played some arcade games, I'll say Super Mario Bros. I had it pre-ordered from Sears, I remember going to Sears to pick it up during the summer. What a great day that was... It was magical. It came with Super Mario Bros. I remember I was the first one to get it in my school, and other kids got theirs later and came with Duckhunt and some shooting game that involved Pipes or something.

Anyway, it was a wonderful system, with games like Metroid, Legend of Zelda, Kid Icarus... Memories...

I do remember we did have an Atari 2600 and I played games Indiana Jones where you do some weird stuff and it ends with you parachuting down a cliff. Weird game.

Sea Battle for Intellevision. I know that's the first, but can't remember it. First game I remember playing was Burger Time for NES.

First, one was a pong clone around '83.

First console I owned Atari 2600('85) - played Moon Patrol to death. Following year my brother bought me a NES - joy.

Some little black and white gunfighter game at the arcade, I think it was called Gunfight. I remember there being cactus' and wagons to hide behind. Before that it was pinball and mechanical shooting games.

The first videogame I played was a console that looked kind of like an Atari, but it had motorcycle handlebars on the top of it. It only had four "different" games on it - the point of the game was you had a little guy on a motorcycle, and he started at the top left of the screen, and went accross the screen three times, dropping down a level each time. You used the throttle on the handlebars to accelerate, and you had to jumb buses, or ramps, or just beat the fastest time. It rocked!

So my parents saw I played it all the time, then they got me an Atari 2600 for Christmas when it came out - packaged with Pac-Man and Combat. The beginning of the end...

Pong would have to be first. My first Atari game was Asteriods I think. The first NES game I played when I bought it was Gyromyte with R.O.B. the robot.

I started to play some arcade games when I was very young. My first game was Super Mario Bros. w/ Duckhunt on NES. I loved that game.

My uncle had one of these and it is the first video game I ever played. Had different variations of Pong on it, if I remember correctly.

The first arcade game I remember playing...well, I don't remember the name of it. I just remember playing it with my father, around 1973. It was a very primitive sort of thing; there were images of fighter planes flying across a background, and you had to shoot at it with a machine gun-type control for points. There were no fancy graphics, just an image of the plane's explosion and how many points you scored.

The first home videogame I played was probably the Coleco Telstar (at least I think that was what it was called), around 1978? It had a driving game, a shooting game, and a Pong-type game. The first Atari 2600 game I played was Combat in 1979. I'm trying to remember the game system put out by Magnavox, the one with the keyboard and weird joysticks. I remember playing that a lot at the mall, and there was this speedway type racing game.
