EB World has the Interact "Massive Memory Card" for $20 that's a 1600-block memory unit, and also includes a PC cable, plus Game Shark Lite. The best part is EB/EBX takes back anything within 10 days, so you can try it out, and return it guilt-free if it doesn't work out.

It's worth it just for the 1600 block capacity by itself.

thanks, i think i'll try that out. sounds like a good deal.

Yes but it's a one time equal or higher exchange only. They do not give refunds except on unopened software.

Bumping to see which memory card will give me the most bang for the buck for my new dreamcast. :)

I had a Nexxus, or Nexus, 4x memory card. It never game me any problems. There's a 16x one but I heard that one isn't as reliable. I don't think you really need that much storage anyways -- I never came close to filling up my 4x card.

When did their policy change? Granted, it's been awhile since I've worked/shopped at one. But if this is the case, with this return policy and their ever shrinking store size, what's the point in shopping there except for the occasional hard to find item?

Edit: I just checked ebworld.com's Return Policy, and it looks to be the same as ever. Taking back open items has always been left up to the discretion of the store manager, so wonder if this new policy is just a local thing. It that's the case, boy, I'm sure that manager has a stressful life.

This is the one I've been looking at. I found a place to get it with a PC cable for $23.50 shipped priority and was wondering if it is the one to get or if there is a better deal out there. I was deeply saddened when I got my Dreamcast and VMU for Christmas, and had the VMU filled up the first time I played World Series 2K2.

I can't remember what I payed for it. That sounds like a pretty good deal though.

Whats this pc link going to do, like transfer the memory to the hard drive?

About a month ago I bought a used official Sega 4x memory card for 15 bucks at Gamestop and a few cheap games also. Anyway the card has 4 dividers and each division holds 200 blocks. You just press a button on top to switch and a light indicator will tell you which division you are at. It works pretty good like if you want to catorgize your save files.

That's how my 4x card worked.
