None, movies and videogames should stay separate. The preview for Final Fantasy looks really lame. Street Fighter, Mortal Combat, and Super Mario were all dumb too.

As for a movie I'd like to see turn into a video game (I think I'm reading this right), how about the Matrix?

Even though there are several games based on it already, the title didn't forbid it, so I'll mention Dune. I'd like a strategy game for Dune a la Master of Orion 2. Where you take control of whole planets at a time. Long spans of time would be cool too, considering the series stretches over 10,000 years total. Maybe you could have the main focus on arrakis and have actual RTS battles there, but have smaller, conflicts in the rest of the galaxy with a bit more micromanagement in those regions -- interplanetary shipping, guild arrangements, negotiations in the Landsraad council, etc.
that would be really cool.

Highlander. Good lord I want a fighting game with the characters from the TV show and movies. You could just fight immortals at different points in time based on your chosen character's timeline. You could have the actual backdrops from the fights, the parking garage, the silvercup studios roof, and a whole lot more. You could finish them a la mortal kombat with a beheading, get a quickening that gives your character more strength and/or moves. And there could be secret characters like General Katana from the excuse of a second sequel. Ah but it will never happen. The only Highlander game ever released was based on the animated series (blech) for the Jaguar.
