I bought the game for my wife and I to play and we had a blast with it.
The only problem are the add ons that people make. She loves them and it always getting new ones. They always seem to crash the game. The Sims File Cop program wasn't much help so I took it off the computer. It was fun to play but I hated trying to restart after it would crash.
Looking forward to Simsville.

I did not like this game at first, but then I got a code to get infinate money and the game became much more fun. The way the Sims live is very unrealistic and a bitch to handle (it would've been much better if there was twice as much time in the day), but oh man, building huge mansions with millions of dollars is fun as hell.

By the way, I think for the Sims, if you have the patch, the free money changes from Klapaucius to rosebud.
I was really into Sims during the summer. I lost interest and I didn't have a lot of time either so I'm sort of off of it now. They are releasing another expansion for Sims called The Sims: House Party. During the time I was addicted (

If that new expansion pack is a decent price I just may have to reinstall the game. Livin Large added a lot to gamepaly and this looks almost as good.
When I first got this game I never expected to see this in it:
And the stripper...um I mean "entertainer".. coming out of a big cake is another odd but interesting touch. I'm looking at the other pictures while I type this and it looks like they have a wide range of parties comvered on this one. I'm guessing that by May I'll find another game to get into and pass on this one but maybe it'll interest my wife a bit more than me.

I would have to agree with the above post about infinite money and huge mansions. With the stuff from Livin' Large I was able to build a kickass castle.
Castle
Upstairs 1
Upstairs 2
Downstairs
Entryway
I just love all those suits of armor. I had a blast creating the castle, but the game gets kind of boring. That's when you build a special room, lure a neighbor into it, board it up and watch what happens.

I got one of my little guys up to the top of his career ladder, but my interest started rapidly dropping off after that. Then I started giving myself infinite money and building various houses like a 70's porn lair, a big castle, and so on, but even that gets boring after a while. And there's only so many times you can force your Sims to drink twenty cups of expresso and wet themselves without getting bored...
