After killing the red dragon (the first boss), I can't access any of the new levels. Did anyone have this problem?

You must find all of the Obelisk's. Talk to the Mage in the main chamber to found out which area has the obelisk you are missing.

Another Gauntlet Legends question

I've played the N64 version, but now with the DC version when I change to the Jackal from Wizard I have to start over at level one? Can someone tell me if there is a way to change to Jackal and still keep my old level, or is it impossible?

I think this can be done. Play a multi-player game and, switch players while the other player is still playing the game.
