I thought so too. This won't end well at all if it goes through. GameStop is a hot mess by itself, let along owning something as huge as EBay.

This won't happen. It's a hostile takeover of a company 1/4 the size of the company it's trying to acquire. It'll be nice short term stock gains for Ebay owners though.

They saw what skydance did and thought they could replicate it, except they don't have a billionaire backing them (they do have MAGA as their lead though which would help if they did get to the antitrust part)
