The Official 2025 "Pokémon Games & Stuff" Thread
 

Pokémon turns 29 this year and they held their Pokémon Day Direct a little bit ago and here's what they had to share:



Here are the highlights:

Pokémon Concierge: New episodes of this stop-motion cartoon coming this September to Netflix. The first four episodes are on The Official Pokémon YouTube Channel.

Pokémon Apps: New stuff coming to Pokémon GO, Sleep, Café Remix, and Unite.

Pokémon TCG Pocket: Getting a new booster pack series called "Triumphant Light." Oh, and Mega Evolutions begin.

Pokémon Champions: A battle-centric PvP competition in the vein of Stadium but this will be cross device as it is being developed for "the Switch Family of consoles" and iOS/Android. Overseen by GameFreak and developed by The Pokémon Works. Oh, yeah, and it will work with Pokémon Home.

Pokémon Legends Z-A: We have the starters confirmed: Chikorita, Tepig, and Totodile. Coming late 2025 is all they said.


That being said, my three sons (ages 26, 20, and 15) are soooo excited for all of this.
