is anyone else psyched for this? i can't wait after my NG Black playthrough. i love the button mashing, the blocking and dodging at the right time. and use these cool moves and kill those ninjas and bosses. very addicting game.

Tomonubu Itagaki, who created the reimagining of NG along with Dead or Alive as passed away at. He was in his early 50's.

that's too bad. what did he die of? that is young and quite a shame, but he left a great legacy behind. too bad he can't enjoy the fruits of his latest creation in 4.

^ i was talking about the reviews score. but I'm off today so i will tell you later, but i have no doubt i will love this as much as the other ones. and i did notice that most of the other games in the franchise, sans the original had the same review #'s. so, not too bad.

now, I've played 3 minutes, and it was glorious. i knew i would love it no matter what. even though you don't start as Ryu, Yakumo sure has some nifty powers. i love the obliteration mode which basically decapitates your enemy. that is so cool. you can also cut off limbs and other things. it looked gorgeous from the footage I've seen, and it also plays really fast. like lightning fast. no complaints. the training mode on the train in the beginning was very helpful. i will play more later, just wanted to get my feet wet and now they are soaked.

I played about an hour. Basically the entire prologue. I love when games drop you right into the action like this.
I’m not great at the controls yet. The dodging feels a bit awkward. But the combat has a lot of kinetic energy, the music is great, the performance on PC seems rock solid (so far, no stalls), etc.
I’ll put in some more time with it today.

oh man, i played a little more and it is so fluid with its motion that it becomes quite addictive. I don't think I will ever get tired of obliteration. Reminds of the glory kills in DOOM and others. I even forgot I was originally playing and loving Borderlands 4. But this definitely has a hold on me now.
