Re: What Are You Playing? (JANUARY 2024)

I decided to take a break from the game I was playing and started FFVII (PS1) on my PS2. Once I got out of Midgar and was able to roam free, I've been having a blast level grinding and working on their limit levels. I have Cloud up to level 30 now and my main group has all but their level 4 limits. Just exited the Mythril Mine, picked up Yuffie, and realized I still have the other characters to work on. Shit.

Currently playing through the remastered versions of Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm. I agree with the general consensus that these remasters are completely unnecessary, but it's been a bit of a nostalgia trip playing them again.

Too many

Disney Speedstorm
Disney Dreamlight Valley
Disney Sorcerer's Arena
Palworld
Enshrouded
First Jupiter picross game
Have bought Valheim, will at least try it out.

I religiously play the first two daily but sometimes it's 20 minutes a day.

Re: What Are You Playing? (JANUARY 2024)

I started Super Mario RPG (Switch). My goal was to finish that and maybe another game before FF7:Rebirth comes out, but Im thinking I might focus on my backlog and avoid getting a new game next month. (Maybe wait for a price drop and more patches or something.). Well see.

My wife got to the end credits of Minekos Night Market (PS5) today but is going for the platinum, with still tons to do. She also fired up Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival (Switch) for the first time. Id read that the little taiko drum accessory required some breaking in, but it seemed to work out of the box pretty well.
