Disney Speedstorm. And I just got into ranked, so my playtime is just going to increase from what it already was
Already got The Lamplighter's League preloaded on Gamepass. I want to try Disgaea 7 but I don't know that I'd play it a lot so I'm not going in on year 1.
Dang slow month
No PS5 here so no Spiderman 2 and they just keep making SMB games harder and they were for me to begin with so that's a no.
I just put in 12 hours on Speedstorm this week though (and I'm not done for the day) so that one game alone is enough for me, and the more I play ranked the more I get into it.
And I mean there's a tons of games releasing just none for me.
The Thaumaturge and F2P Dreamlight Valley are coming out 2023 so I'm looking forward to those, specially The Thaumaturge.
I also have MK 11 to play through after the fantastic MK1, I'm about 45 minutes in. And I have Gloomhaven but that's a long-term hundreds of hours game.

I’m just going back and forth between BG3 and Starfield. I still have Tears of the Kingdom to finish and all the extra stuff on Pikmin 3.
I’m not really interested in AC: Mirage because I don’t like the changes they made. Plus I haven’t finished the last three games. MK11 I’ll play when it’s on Gamepass. Same with NHL 24 and Madden 24.

I'm redoing a second playthrough of Starfield now just doing side missions here and there not trying to get to the end and it really is a fantastic game, so that's my fill-in game. Very easy to pick up and put down. I've also really gotten into ranked on Speedstorm so I've been playing that even more than usual. I've done two characters out of eight so far. Now the heavy days are Thursdays-Monday and Tuesday and Wednesdays the slow days.

Re: What Are You Playing? (October 2023)
It took a little under 40 hours, but my wife and I have 100%-ed Pikmin 4. Fully investigated all the areas, completed all the main and side missions (that didn’t look like they infinitely repeat), did all the endgame stuff, did Olimar’s tale, did the Trials of the Sage Leaf, yadda yadda.
I was hoping to be totally finished with that before we start Super Mario Bros. Wonder, so…yeah!
And I just started this, which I’m aiming to complete before Spider-Man 2 shows up in my mailbox:

And yeah, I got the Limited Run Games edition.

I got sucked into Lamplighters League. I'm so sad that there's only 2 games left on my radar until the end of the year (Super Mario RPG and The Thaumaturge).

Wrapped up Detective Pikachu Returns (Switch) and have 5 days until Super Mario Wonder (Switch) & Spider-Man 2 (PS5) so I decided to give Honkai Space Rail (PS5) the free turn based RPG a whirl. Only played about an hour so far but so far so good.

Far and away my GOTY. I guess I'm not the only one since the trophy for beating the game is at 36.3% a little over a week since launch.

Re: What Are You Playing? (October 2023)
I saw an ad on Facebook for Star Trek: Resurgence. The game flew completely under my radar. Watched a couple of reviews and decided I’d buy it because it seemed decent enough.
Got it for Xbox One. The game is okay. It’s essentially a Telltale game (I’ve heard some of the development crew are actually from Telltale but this is made by Dramatic Labs).
Some of the textures of things like hair on characters looks pretty bad and some controls are kind of wonky. As a Star Trek fan it’s fun enough for what it is though. I maybe wouldn’t have paid $40 for it but I guess it is what it is at this point.
