Seeing that opening pop up in the Direct gave me goosebumps. One of my favorite games of all time and I'm glad to see Nintendo come back to it.

Nice - I actually never had a SNES, so I missed this one the first time around. I've loved all the Paper Mario games, and any of the RPG-lite Mario games that have come out. They're always nice lighthearted fun.

Then you're going to love this. Secondary party members get treated as actual people and aren't out of commission for the entire fight if they get injured once, unlike in Paper Mario.

This released yesterday and I put about 2 hours into it. I agree with the reviews I've read that it does lose a little bit of it's charm with just a generic art style instead of the unique look the original had. If they weren't going to recreate the 3D rendered style they should have done something else unique with the look of it. I've also run into multiple instances of slowdown which really shouldn't happen in a game like this with so little happening on screen. But other than those complaints still a fantastic game and I'm glad more people will get to experience it.

I'm getting it to use the other voucher I got with Pikmin 4 but I don't know when I'll get to play it, Speedstorm is taking up all my playing hours, but this will hold its value and I have to use up the voucher.

Really enjoying the remake so far. I have 3 of the 7 stars. I know I played this as a kid but only once for some reason. I don't remember much of anything, which is great during this replay.

I think the visuals are stunning (made even better by the OLED Switch.) Fun to play and a joy to look at.
