I like little concrete things to do every day. Speedstorm is the perfect game for me. And easy I like easy Picross also is perfect. I game five minutes at a go and L2KD is really a game you have to sit and play for at least 30 minutes to really get into the zone.

Freezes AI? I can’t even tell you how exciting that sounds. The thought of doing laps around a course by myself while my opponents just sit there. Sometimes dreams do come true.

We finally started this, more than 7 months after buying it. LEGO 2K Drive is a blast so far, especially in local co-op. Progression is mostly shared, so as long as one of us is in first place, we’re able to move forward, and it makes the “retrieve all XX items” missions a lot more fun too.
We’re still relatively early; just finished the Abduction 500 and unlocked the Big Butte Grand Brick Arena.

Well, that didn’t take long! We finished LEGO 2K Drive’s story mode this afternoon. 4 play sessions and well under 8 hours total.
Interesting to see the drop off in engagement; there are 3 arena races you have to win in order to get to the final Sky Cup Grand Prix; only 10% of Xbox players ever completed the first of the three, which only takes about 2 hours to do.
Couch co-op really made this for me; I don’t think I would’ve had nearly as much fun solo. And my wife — who always dominates in racing games — was pretty consistently getting first place in the last batch of races, and I was eating her (and everyone else’s) dust, despite me leading in earlier races.
