Surprised there was no thread. I just played the demo and it was so much fun. Plays very fast and loose. Great visuals. PS5 exclusive.

Trailer doesn't look good, but I'll download the demo if you recommend it.

Can’t hurt. It’s free. It’s a very free style movement and great game design. I saw 10 minute GP on YouTube and looked unique and fun.
Just don’t blame me if you hate. All I took from you is precious time away from family. 😜

This is actually a pretty good review from someone who did 100% of the Demo pointing out pretty much everything about the demo and game in general......I'm still on the fence on this one...I really like what i see but seems there's missing answers and still questions...

I can wait too. Too bad, was looking good from onset, but I guess not. Maybe some major patches would do something, but doubt it would change drastically.

They put the demo up on Steam the other day, so I downloaded it and played for a while. Ooof.
Might have to wait for sub-$20 before I bite.

Ive seen a few on my friends list playing this so I messaged one to get their opinion....He said he was loving the game. At the beginning the story sort of takes shape, it's a bit slow at first when you start getting powers and upgrades. visually he said it's pretty impressive. He fought the first major Boss and said oh yea, more challenging but also you're getting better powers, tougher enemies....and world is fun to explore since you can basically move any way you want.
Here's a review of a YouTuber (850K Subscribers) that seems straight forward and honest...doesn't bash or completely praises the game but does highlight what works, looks good and what could be better. there's some stuff in there I haven't seen or knew.....

I impulse bought this the other week, and I'm having one hell of a good time with it.
The dialogue and story are as bad as reviewers say, but at this point if you're coming to this game for its story...you did it to yourself.
Maybe don't pay full price for this, but definitely don't pass it up at a discount.

Just finished this up last night. There are a lot of stuff that it does right. I actually found the story pretty interesting and the main character while heavily flawed has a nice arc from where she is at the beginning of the story to the end. The game looks fantastic and zipping around the world with your fast movement is really fun. But the openworld bloat is too much. A tighter more linear experience would have definitely helped in my opinion. There is way too much to do in the open world and almost none of it is very rewarding or interesting. Lots of treasure chests which give you crafting materials of which you already have 100+ of. After the second area I just ignored all the open world stuff and would just book it to the next storybeat which is rare for me since I'm usually a completionist when it comes to that stuff. Because I just focused on the mainline story I was able to finish it in about 15 hours. If I would have paid $70 for this then I would have been fairly let down overall but for the $20 I picked it up for I had a good time with it.

Great review Quest. Per usual. You have me chomping at the bit to get this with Sony credit I have. I just think it has a lot that I like.
