Loving the game on PC, but performance is not great. Also cloud save game files don't sync for me between 2 computers.

Oddly changing it off performance mode fixed most, but not all, of the problems.

No issues on quality mode on the XSX. It’s way more entertaining than the first one. I just got to the first planet.

Yeah, it’s so much better. More user-friendly, Much harder to get lost, less of a slog, just more badass and more fun.

I'm not digging the map. It's hard to read.

Go to accessibility menu and add the waypoints. Doesn't spoil gameplay at all and makes the map.much easier to navigate.

Actually, I’m in accessibilities menu right now and that option is not present under accessibilities. At least on PS5.

Yeah, I have that on, so I guess I'm just really shitty at reading maps.

Went off to do that side mission and facing my first Rancor and that thing is hard as fuck to kill. Still can't do it. It's like playing Elden Ring again.

I play on story mode so the Rancor was fairly easy for me. Used both stims, but killed him. I don’t have time nor the patience to play on a higher difficulty.

I've tried this fight on the default difficulty maybe 20 times throughout my play through, and still can't beat this thing.

I mentioned it earlier in the thread. I had close to an hour of attempts before killing it. Nothing since has been remotely as hard.

I decided to stop and go back to playing other parts of the game -- I'll come back to him later. I've been playing it in Jedi Knight mode, so I assume that's "normal" setting?

I played the first game entirely in story mode, and if I ever get around to this one, I will do the same. If a game doesn't penalize you in any way for difficulty, including trophies/achievements, I set it to the lowest setting and just enjoy the ride.

Yeah, switched to story mode, came back, and killed the Rancor on the first try.

I might need to drop the difficulty. I'm on regular, haven't encountered the Rancor yet but am getting killed a lot by a mob of NPCs. Fine 1 on 1 or 1 on 2, but with a swarm of Commando Droids and Raiders can polish me off real quickly.

Being intentionally vague, but there is a part of the game with Merrin that is some portal shit that might be the coolest thing in a game in years.

I decided to try Fallen Order and after 34 minutes of falling at various spots and having to redo chunks I gave up, and I guess this one is more of the same. I wish it was more fighting less platforming.

Turn fall damage off. If you fall you just start from the spot where you fell. There is plenty of fighting in this game. Tons.

I did, I'm on the train and I keep falling and it keeps resetting me to where I don't make progress. Make it through first jump fail the second, restart. Make the first and second jump fail the third, restart.

Yeah don't play this one then. There is a sequence I referenced above where you are constantly pushing buttons to get through a part of the game.
