I haven’t played it in quite a few years, but I remember being bowled over by the drop dead gorgeous graphics. I could picture it spawning a really terrific sequel, building on its strengths and ditching everything that didn’t work.

I recall a long stealth section that wasn’t as bad as everyone said it was but was far from great. Rare male full-frontal nudity. And there’s a copy/paste boss battle that’s one of the most embarrassing things I’ve ever played.

Oh! And for myself so far:

And my current local-co-op-game-we’re-only-playing-for-MS-Rewards-achievements:

Yeah looks great, but hate the 2.40:1 Aspect Ratio. Also didn't need to see a dick

Completed it yesterday and I like it. I want to see the rest of the story play out, a sequel I would love. I want to play as The Queen and/or her daughter.

Just got here today from Play Asia! I'm still in awe that there's an Ultraman-themed Monster Hunter game.

Re: What Are You Playing? (November 2022)

Own this and had only previously played on the SEGA SATURN. Bought on sale for $4. Fuck wasn't expecting to play this for the last 2 weeks. It gives you so much content: the original game + 4 expansions. It also give you for free 6 Add-ons created by the community and also N64 version of game. Great value!. I hope they remaster Quake II, cause this first remaster is well worth it.

backward compatible

Re: What Are You Playing? (November 2022)

Final Fantasy 7 Remake
Pretty impressive expansion on the original game. Only thing I don't like is how linear it is so far, although I seem to recall the original game being pretty linear until leaving Midgar.

Also:
The Witness
No idea what's going on, who I am, or why I'm there. Just solving puzzles as I figure out how, waiting to see what happens. Very intriguing, and challenging at times.

Re: What Are You Playing? (November 2022)

First time playing, this game is . Completed story & DC mode, with the basic default gun maxed out. Then bought the mini gun. Longer game than the past ones.
I'll try DC hardcore & OG mode at another time. Probably when I buy the first remake, one day.

First time playing, more of the same but with an SMG!
