They are just matching Walmart pricing. It's number 1 on every sales chart I've seen. I saw some article where it's already the 3rd highest selling game of the year on Amazon.

Does Walmart normally discount newly released first-party Switch games? I thought Nintendo kept that pretty under control, though I realize Walmart has some heft they can throw around.

My understanding is that in-store, new Switch releases are basically always $10 off. That's occasionally, but not often, reflected on their website.

I honestly donít know if I knew that and forgot it or never knew it, but appreciate the info either way.

Yeah it's been at least 2 years where pretty much every first party Switch game is $49.94 at Wal-Mart on release.

I think I'm getting close to the end. Got the hookshot and finished most of the Sand Sea area.

I must have quit the game super early the first time I played at launch.

I wrapped this up today and other than the first few hours getting used to the controls it was a fantastic Zelda game. I'm glad they released this to give more people a chance to play it.

I'm very early in the game, just finished the first dungeon, and I'm really enjoying it quite a bit. The controls definitely take some getting used to, but even after several hours the sword control/accuracy on right stick is still...I don't love it.

Occasionally I'll miss a swing but the combat isn't very difficult. I died maybe twice the entire game and flew through the last 4 or 5 boss battles without any trouble.

I'm close to done. I'm on the third time you have to gather spirit flowers or whatever (volcano area). I failed the first time I tried with one left to collect and needed to take a break.

Agreed. Combat so far is pretty easy. The most trouble I've had with the sword is when clearing out the spider webs early on in the first dungeon (I think). I could rarely get a good angle on my swing, and more often than not got stuck in the web trying to cut the last strands.

The end of this game is such a slog. I saved air whale, now I have to go back to all three areas again for the song?? I'm ready for it to be over.

Was finally able to score a Loftwing amiibo today from Best Buy with free shipping. They're been going in and out of stock all day.
