Re: Wwe 2k22
I haven't played WWE's 2K series since 2K18 and I didn't like that game at all.
Oddly, I'm still curious about this one, even though my wrestling game of choice has been Fire Pro Wrestling World. The return of GM Mode is great news. Hoping that there will be more wrestlers from NXT on the final roster but I know that would be hard considering the shift to NXT 2.0 :( |

Re: Wwe 2k22
Got to admit the graphics don't impress me. At all.

Re: Wwe 2k22
It's funny that this fan made trailer is a thousand times more interesting than the game WWE and 2K are putting out

Re: Wwe 2k22
I still wish we could just get a straight Legends game, but better than the one we got way back when.

Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 had something similar in which you built a PPV card and picked the arena and see at the end how many people attended. It was a fun, simple thing. Let's see if WWE can recreate this or make it too complicated. |
Re: Wwe 2k22
It would appear that the control scheme is more simplistic, which is what I’ve wanted. I don’t understand why they ever moved away from the THQ style of grappling. It gave the player so much more control over grappling, reversals, and move inputs. I like the graphics but I refuse to preorder based off past entries.

Re: Wwe 2k22
The graphics look a little off

Re: Wwe 2k22
Diggin' the additions to the NXT roster but will still wait for reviews.

Exactly what everyone was asking for

Re: Wwe 2k22
I don't get the appeal of that guy. Goofy rapper turned goofy...pop punk singer?
|
Re: Wwe 2k22
Anybody played it yet? Seems like with the negative opinion of the last in the series a demo would have been smart
|
Re: Wwe 2k22
Yeah, I have messed with it briefly and from what I have played it is a big improvement from the previous games.
|
Re: Wwe 2k22
From what I have read so far, people seem to be enjoying it. I will most likely wait until it goes on sale months down the road before I buy it. I want to give it more time to see what kind of bugs may pop up.

Re: Wwe 2k22
I don't think anyone will be disappointed in this one.
I have been having fun just watching the CPU play out Royal Rumbles. |
Re: Wwe 2k22
Caved and decided to pay full price. Love it. Grappling, which has been my complaint for awhile, feels way better. Moves aren't that complecated, although there can be a bit of a learning curve to figure out ALL the different scenarios you can put your opponent in.
Only major complaint is that grappling reversals seem to be hit or miss and it is way to easy to kick out of a pin, even when the opponent is practically dead. |

Wait, why pay full price? Do you not leave near a Target?

It wasn’t available for PS5 at my local one. Is it cheaper?

They have a B2G1F right now. You can apparently still buy three copies and return 2 and keep a prorated discount. It's one of the few brand new titles that are included.
