I’m watching my wife play New Pokémon Snap as I write this.

I’m not sure what all is on the docket for me this month. I know for sure that I’ll be playing NieR: Replicant, which finally arrived after getting misrouted, although I haven’t started it yet.

I don’t have anything preordered for May, but I know I have a flood on the way. Now that I’m vaccinated, I’m planning on visiting family near the end of the month, and there’s a stockpile of birthday and Christmas presents waiting for me. So some the stuff that you were playing 6 or 7 months ago, I finally get to take a crack at!

And if there’s a lull between Replicant and Belated Christmas, maybe I’ll give Returnal a shot?

I am trying to platinum Yakuza: Like a Dragon before Resident Evil 8 comes out this week, but I don't think that's going to happen. Although, I did at least figure out that taking the chicken, the chimp, and the roomba into stockholder meetings is a good way to make money fast.

Thanks to the previous thread, I’m replaying the Uncharted Trilogy. :)

Just finished Assasin’s Creed Syndicate and the DLC. I was torn on whether to try something different or doing another AC because there was a re-learning curve after I hadn’t played one in years. But Odyssey was on sale, so that’s probably up next.

AC Valhalla. Holy crap this is way better than Odyssey. Story is typical revenge right now, Combat is Satisfying and Exportation really fun. I can see this being one of my favorite AC games.

I finished the plat on Control, and now for some reason I'm playing Wet (2009). Just a random PS3 game plucked from my backlog. We'll see if I can tolerate it long enough to plat it, lol

I’m a little ways into Odyssey and feeling pretty lost because it’s so different from Syndicate. I’ll stick with it, though.

Playing KOTOR (going to try and go Dark Side) and Resident Evil 4 (Both on PC).

Haven't played KOTOR since my original playthroughs on my Xbox. I also picked up KOTOR 2 since they were in sale via Steam.

Playing RE4 on PC made me realize how perfect the controls on the Wii were for this game.

Played and finished Resident Evil Village this month.

Also been continuing to play The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV. I'm 105 hours into it, but I'm nearing the end of the game finally.

I've also started back my play of Final Fantasy VI which had been on pause for a while. Roughly 18 hours in at this point.

And today I started Nocturne: Shin Megami Tensei III HD Remaster, never played the original version on the PS2.

I played the PS4 remaster. I've been playing off-and-on over the last year. This is a pretty easy game to do that with since each case works as a little standalone story. And speaking of Assassin's Creed, I started:

I think I'm going to be at it for a while :lol: I haven't played everything in the AC series (last one was Black Flag). I'm glad that the insta-fail sneaking missions are gone. Already I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed at all the side quests, and think I'm going to start skipping some so I don't get too waylaid from the main story. Being more of a RPG fan, I don't mind that this has the series going more in that direction (I can see the comparisons to Witcher 3, with a bit of Far Cry).

AC: Odyssey is something that I bought digitally and will get around to eventually. But certainly I'll have to play a few games in between this and that.

I've hit my stopping point with Returnal. I knew there was zero chance going in that I would ever make it very far in it and I was correct. Still enjoyed the 10 or so hours I put in to it.

Horizon Zero Dawn . Gave up when it launched. 2nd time and I'm hooked. The graphics, story , enemies and combat all clicking with me.

I just started Odyssey and am enjoying it. The map is so huge, though, and I just got to level 29 while I’ve had level 50 quests on my task bar for a while. :lol:

I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to tackle this right after Syndicate, but that was the first AC game I had played in a few years so I figured why not since I had re-familiarized myself with the gameplay (even though this is pretty different). I almost bought Origins on sale the other day but figured I’ll need a break so no rush. For both Odyssey and Origins, Xbox was selling the Deluxe edition and season pass for like $30 combined, which seemed pretty reasonable to me.

I also returned to TLOU2. It was a little annoying because while I was making progress, it just seemed to be wave after wave of enemies. However, I just switched to a major character arc, so it feels more like I’m getting somewhere. Looking forward to finishing this one.

I just finished Terminator Resistance and while it's not perfect I had alot of fun with it, I'm about half way through Mortal Kombat X and I haven't played a game in the series since 2 came out in arcades and it's alot of fun so far
