Do you happen to have Xbox.com link? I can’t seem to find on the site.

Try using the Xbox Game Pass app (either in your phone or your console). If I’m remembering correctly, it’ll give you a code to redeem.

I did it through Amazon Prime and the linked account was successful. I should see it in game.

I just don’t know when these items will show up in my arsenal. This and deluxe pack.

Thanks AT.

Glad it worked out. When I say the Game Pass app, I mean an actual app — on console or on your phone — not Xbox.com.

They each have a “perks” section with free goodies:

I did use GP app on phone. This is all there was, but I’m sure I searched wrong.

It’s under “perks” and won’t show up with a search.

There’s occasionally some good stuff in there, so it’s worth poking your head in every so often. (Ditto for Prime Gaming Loot.)

Gotcha. Thx. And do the perks and add-ons only work when you get infusion?

I did finish TLD. I’m on the Ubiquity mission. I got nothing in my arsenal as of yet…

Just going by what I found via Google.

So in short, The Longest Day is six runs long. You reset your progress three times and visit your apartment for the third time. After that, the DLC is accessible on your loadout screen. In addition, the Deathloop DLC appears in the Julianna mode too.
When you go to the “manage this game” menu on your Xbox, does it show the DLC downloaded and installed?

Yes, it shows all DLC. Maybe I just got to do ubiquity snd see what happens. Thanks again AT.

And it doesn’t show up at the start of a day when you can configure your weapons, perks, etc.? Not in your actual weapon wheel but where you determine what’s going in the wheel?

i'll have to check, but don't think i noticed it. i probably would have if it were there. could be i'm looking in the wrong place, but i know it's not equipped on the wheel like you said, but not sure about inventory. when i can play again i'm sure i'll figure it out. thanks AT for all this!

Re: Deathloop - from Bethesda Studios - 9/14/21 (PC, PS5 Console-Exclusive)

eh, i just suck at this game. i dunno what the fuck i'm doing. i get trinkets but don't know how to equip them. i killed all the Wenjie's and got infusion. but only had enough residium for a silenced limp gun or whatever that nailgun is.

i just don't know where to go or what to do and keep these weapons. i went to the Infused menu and scrolled over some guns, some of which might be from the deluxe pack, but again i don't fucking know.

anyway, i scrolled over and it didn't give me option to infuse or tell me how much residium it takes. i could only scroll over and infuse that one weapon. i had like 13,750 residium until i died and lost it all.

i try stealth, but it's freaking hard. and then when they spot you they swarm. so many. then the gun jams and i get killed 3x so many times. it's frustrating, but i still love the world and gameplay. just don't get the inner workings of this game. and those menus are for shit. i don't know what any of the icons are or mean. i'm just frustratingly exhilarated by this game...

Take a screenshot of the confusing menus and maybe we can tell you what everything means

I can’t upload pics. Screenshots too big and I can’t shrink anymore. Basically, every one. Especially infused/non infused weapons. Why doesn’t it tell me how much residiuum it takes to infuse? I know, I’ve picked up trinkets and I don’t see those anywhere.

I hope the above works. I just don’t have anything and I just finished Ubiquity. Killing all Wenjie’s.

Re: Deathloop - from Bethesda Studios - 9/14/21 (PC, PS5 Console-Exclusive)

Well, I was able to get and infuse a sniper rifle. So I have 3 infused guns. The Silenced LIMP, a gold tribunal and the sniper (never have come across ammo for it though). That was pretty cool, but I still have no idea what the f is going on or how I’m going to keep enough residiuum to infuse anything. I just can’t do the swarms of enemies and stealth is ok, but very hard to do most of the time.

It might be worth watching some Let’s Play-s on YouTube or something to see how other players are dealing with those challenges early on.

And if you’d like an Easy mode (although I didn’t discover this until well into the game):

If you miss a headshot, the pistol still packs enough of a wallop that another shot or two can still take ‘em out before they have a chance to alert anyone.
It’s in the trailer-like building near the very beginning with the laser tripwires around the windows.

I have that gun infused and I’ve been watching so many videos and it’s not helping. But I will persist on…

Re: Deathloop - from Bethesda Studios - 9/14/21 (PC, PS5 Console-Exclusive)

IMO, the Peppermill (I think that's the name of it), is the best gun in the game (so far anyways). I'm early on but I use "auto lock" and one-shot just about every bad guy in my line of sight. Maybe try that.

And, like you, I have no idea wtf is going on when I venture into a new area... so I try to explore the shit out of it and note the times of day that make a difference to access areas of that map. I guess the good news is you can go to a place over and over if needed. There really is no right answer for how to play this game.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can only carry 2 slabs at once? meaning if i kill a third visionary like i just did with Harriet i have to sacrifice a slab to take her Nexus? what's the point of all the slab? i figured you can keep them but on loadout can only use two slabs.

Not sacrifice, exactly; just not be able to use it that day. It's like...you can have a refrigerator full of food at home, but if you bring a sack lunch to work, you're limited in what you're able to bring with you. Limiting your loadout serves two purposes: it forces you to think more strategically, and it streamlines the UX since you aren't fumbling through a bunch of submenus. If you have fewer options, you can make what you do choose more easily accessible.
