finally getting around to this. great game. more of the same after HZD but MUCH more difficult. i'm a big explorer in these games and try and do the side quests i have first and even though they say they are at the level i'm at it seems like i'm super underpowered weapons and armor wise.

Tempted by the Burning Shores DLC. The Horizon games are not something I’ve hung around in after the main story is completed, but I do like them, and I’m probably in for it.

Just wrapped up the Burning Shores DLC. It had been like 14 months since I beat the main game so I figured it would take me forever to get back in to the swing of things but after about 15 minutes I was up to speed. Really great story which doesn't overstay it's welcome and introduces some good characters. Aloy continues to be one of my favorite characters in all of gaming.

I downloaded all 100 GBs and installed this on Monday. I'm going to start playing soon. Hopefully on my next day off work, Sunday.

I really need to get back to this. I'm at 55% and I haven't touched it on over a year.
Been busy with school and then TOTK came out.
I haven't had much time for either of them.

I only have time to play on my days off. My schedule changed. I used to work 3 (9.5 hour) long days and 2 half (5-6 hour) days on the weekend. I work 5 8 hour days now. I had more time to play on my half days and days off. I have less time, but I sleep a lot better now that I don't work two different shifts.

I'm a professor and as a colleague put it, "we work 80 hours a week... but we can choose when those hours they are."
And you'd think I would have time over my long breaks, but there is so much to do life wise.
But, I'm teaching any extra classes this semester... so I should have a bit more time this Fall.

I played a few hours yesterday and why did they make the blight areas and the tall grass areas the same color? I might have accidentally rolled into the blight a couple times....

I think this is my next game after Uncharted 4 (I'm on chapter 17 of 22). I did play this a bit when it came out but for some reason it didn't hold my interest or I got side-tracked.

It's great. I'm hooked. I had to make myself stop playing it last night at 9PM, because I knew that if I didn't I'd play until midnight or later.
