I don’t want to be one of those people but I really want this game (physical is already on preorder). I’m thinking though if people are buying these at $200/$300 would it be wrong of me to sell and just get the digital? I’m having financial troubles like everyone else.

In the original Super Mario Sunshine the camera controls were inverted which I hated when I played it on Gamecube. For this Switch version they switched it to be not inverted which is awesome. Unfortunately for others though they didn't put an option for inverted.

I was just referring to EBay prices so far. Most of the time I just ignore these things but I was just thinking out loud.

The only reason I preordered this physical is to have it in my collection anyway, I prefer digital for playing.

I'm surprised about the DLC: I'd think only you could use it on the Lite (even if you bought the cartridge) but that any user can use it on your primary system. Are you saying both of you can't access the DLC at the same time, because that's contrary to how digital games actually work.
what I thought: anyone could use the Sword DLC on Primary. anyone could use Shield DLC on Switch Lite, because they were different DLC.
what I discovered: only 1 other Family member can use ANY purchased licensed content other than me at any given time on any Switch. So, my son can use Sword DLC on switch, but my wife can't use the Shield DLC (or any purchased content) on the Switch Lite at the same time.
I should have bought the Shield DLC on Switch Lite under my wife's account.

what I did: Buy Sword DLC in my name on Primary Switch. Buy Shield DLC in my name on Switch Lite.

But it sucks, they should really remove the check for DLC. I have a separate issue where I couldn't play Dragon Quest XII on cart on my Lite (secondary switch) without internet access because I had downloaded some free DLC and it had to do a license check.

Went to GameStop today and was able to secure a pre-order of the physical edition. I kinda know some of the workers there and one of the guys actually showed me they already have it.

How were they inverted? I like left and right normal, but up and down inverted (so when you push down on the stick, you look up into the sky). Is that not possible now?

Nope. Like I said it was originally inverted but this Switch version they switched it to non-inverted and their is no option to change it back.

Some folks are cancelling their preorders due to a content change in Super Mario 64.
Reports say that they replaced a line Mario says as he throws Bowser.
Instead of saying “So long Bowser” (which sounds like “So longgay Bowser”) with “Bye Bye.”
Whatever.

I think I'm done buying games with Best Buy. The last 5 or 6 new releases I've preordered they'll show receive by release day and then pretty much within a few hours UPS tracking shows it being delayed 2-3 days. I just checked my tracking for 3D All Stars and it shows being delivered tomorrow but when you actually click the info it says label created and nothing else. I am definitely not getting it tomorrow.

I got two emails, one saying it was delayed and then shortly after saying it would be here today.

My Best Buy preorder shipped yesterday and is on the truck for delivery right now.
They've been good to me for games, but they've fallen off a cliff as of late for movies. Nearly everything ships late, and Roman Holiday has been 'preparing to ship' for literally a full week now.

I found copies in stock at Walmart so I will be picking up a reserved copy and cancelled the Amazon order that was pushed to Wednesday. So much for the hype of not having enough copies on release day.

I had it ordered for store pickup from Best Buy. Just got back from picking it up, they had plenty. I plan to dig into Sunshine this evening.
