I'd really like them to release some collections on PS5 also. There are a ton of great Ratchet games stuck on PS3 and the few early ones were before trophies.

I was reading there will be two graphics options. One at 30 FPS 4k with all the bells and whistles and one at 60 FPS with a lot of the next gen graphical upgrades minimized at a lower resolution.

Interesting. You would think with these new systems they could be pushing 60 FPS on everything.

I am really looking forward to this one. Main reason I want a launch-window PS5. As you can see from the limited edition print I had framed and hung in my Man-Cave, I am quite the R&C fan.

I guess I will have to wait even longer as Best Buy Canada just put up a preorder link and the Launch Edition is priced at $90 Canadian plus tax. I'm sorry but I won't be spending $100 for a single game.

Probably my favorite, most consistent franchise - played all of them to death (except for that one-off arena-battle game).

Definitely getting this one, but probably not until well after it's release date due to not being able to buy a PS5 at non-scalper or bundle prices.

At this point, I may as well wait for a PS5-"slim" - you know it's coming!

I'm super excited for this game but the last thing I need is to see more of it. I don't understand why people wouldn't just want to wait until the game comes out and enjoy it.

I've never played any R&C game and plan on getting this, unless the reviews are terrible. Everything I've seen and heard about definitely sounds right up my alley.

I remember playing whatever named version on PS2 when I had that system for a hot minute, before I got rid and got Gamecube. I loved the shit out of this platformer and always regret not finishing. Such a great game and what I see is great franchise. Ever evolving. PS2 probably archaic. I wish I knew which I played, but I wouldn’t get name. The game itself was pure bliss and while I’ll never get another system since Series X and basically now only Xbox’s, this would almost do it.

Yeah; only negative comment I've seen is that they haven't done much to advance the series beyond graphically. Otherwise, everything I've seen has been fantastic.

Which, honestly, I'm cool with. I marathon'ed eight or nine Ratchet and Clank games a few summers back and never got sick of it.

It's a dumb one. That's never a complaint leveled against Mario games. If they're great and fun and look amazing, why not just enjoy them.

You should. R&C (2016) is a fantastic, if too short, game. It's free with Playstation Plus.
