Interesting on the third person view - can't wait to see how good or bad it is.

What they really need to do this time out is finally fix the driving - it's absolutely terrible in these games and has been since far cry 3.

I think the male/female selection is pretty damn lazy but I get it - it probably saves on cost and production time as well.

Looking forward to this one as who doesn't love Giancarlo?

Hmm... earlier trailer made it look more urban, similar to Caracas, this new trailer makes it look more like a tropical island, more similar to Cuba.

In. Love the Far Cry games (although I was late to the party; started with FC3 when it came out for consoles). Have put dozens of hours into every game since.

I've only played 4 & 5 (none of the spin-offs) and poured 60+ into each so I don't see this one being any different. I returned my Cyberpunk game last November and put the money towards this, so it kinda feels like a freebie at this point.

Maybe because it was my first, but I liked FC2 a lot. The malaria shots and quickly respawning enemy points was a chore, but the rest was a lot of fun.

This is one of those games I can play for 10 hours straight (a rarity these days for me). I'm afraid I'll ignore my friends, family, SO, job, gym if for a couple weeks if I buy this :lol:

yeah, FC4 & FC5 quietly became two of my more played games last gen looking back at the hours put in. I don't think I'd put either in a "Best of" list but there is just something about them that is easy to sink time into.

It’s my favorite Ubi open-world-checklist franchise. Weirdly, I’m not excited at all about FC6 at the moment — even though it’s the first new game I’ve bought for myself since June! — but I’m sure I’ll have a blast once I fire it up for the first time.

^ why exactly not excited? I loved the crap out of 5, having never played or heard too much about game series, surprised of loving 5 and not quite sure why I got it, bc I play don’t play too many OW games. I just hope it doesn’t stray too far from that formula. Haven’t played New Dawn, but I think if reviews are stellar, I’m going all in on super deluxe whatever edition. The $119.

I don't think it's anything about FC6 specifically. I've just weirdly not been much in a gaming mood for the past couple of months, and there's nothing on the immediate horizon that's really knocking my socks off. But hopefully that changes once I get a controller in my hand. (For instance, I did really enjoy the Iki Island expansion on Ghost of Tsushima, which I finished earlier this week, despite the gaming snit I'm in.)
