Hated it... it's the only FC game since 3 I haven't completed. I love the FC series for the insane guns and unique things like the gyro-copter. So no, the caveman one didn't resonate with me at all.

I don’t think I tried New Dawn. Not sure why. Only Borderlands 3 I can keep attention on for now. Better than FC5 huh? I never played any other but 5, but did finish and like a lot. Does ND just have better story? I’m sure gameplay exact...

No, story is the weakest aspect by far. But it is a direct sequel to FC5, so it’s still worth checking out.

I don't think the story is weak at all in 5 - they're three psychopaths and it's very entertaining with what they say and how they act. I though the ending fit perfectly as well.

So this is a prequel game. After the ending of 5 and the subsequent New Dawn it felt like they had pushed themselves into a corner. I alwayd wanted a return to islands like the first game. Hell, a remake of the first game wpuld be awesome. I have loved every game in the series, except Primal which i havnt played.

the only reason this is delayed is because Giancarlo Esposito is in every damn show on tv and needs to fit finishing his voice work in somehow. not that him being in everything is a bad thing you mind you...

I love the look, the fact the protagonist is a Latina woman, of course the legendary Giancarlo Esposito (and they got his look down pat. That smirk was so Gus), everything about it.

Well once again a no brainer buy for me...this one will be interesting...plus you get a choice of playing along side of two pets...a mean Crocodile....or this cute little two legged Weiner.....and I know which one for me no question....and I've got to get that 'CD Disc Shooter Gun" (3:18 mark in video)....

And some of those look like they might be preorder bonuses. :/ (Although maybe they’re just skins or you get access to them earlier.)

Day 1 and it's my most anticipated game this year... however, the over-the-top weapons remind me of Saints Row. That's not a bad thing entirely but there is something charming about taking out a post with a sniper rifle and an SMG... and not a Macarena playing CD launcher.

FC is always a day one purchase for me, even though I'll be seeing it for half price in what feels like no time. October is fine with me; much better than jumping the gun (see, e.g., Cyberpunk).
