Dove back into Wolfenstein II. Not loving it, but I'll plow through the main story.
Still tending to roses in Animal Crossing: New Horizons while my wife and kid do all the other stuff.
Trying to make time for Deadly Premonition on Switch so I can finish it before DP2 comes out next week, but it's hard to do when the others are using the Switch all the time Generally, this does appear to be the best port of the game (PC and PS3 versions should be completely avoided, IMO, and the 360 version works well enough)

PC version has 3rd party patches to fix its issues, once applied it's probably still the best overall version. IMO at least, but fresh bought from Steam its pretty bad.

Re: What Are You Playing? (July 2020)

^ nah, I tried that around the last time it was updated. The patch (DPfix) does definitely help... a bit... but it's still prone to crashing (something about memory leaks over longer sessions...). I don't think the person who created the patch it was ever able to get it to be stable enough to avoid that before abandoning the project. I do agree it was an improvement on the otherwise broken PC release, though. Better than nothing, especially when the game has been so cheap on Steam. But for now, Switch version seems to be my favorite of the bunch.

Re: What Are You Playing? (July 2020)

Ah yeah I never had a ton of issues but didn't play all the way through, it was the best looking after everything was applied but no game should need that much 3rd party support to run decently.

I'm playing Bloodstained Ritual of the Night, still not my favorite art styles but its a quirky, fun game thats occasionally gorgeous on top of that.

I just got nothing in the tank for anything else right now. I don’t know why, but whatever. Wish I could rack up guardian tokens faster. Takes awhile and get like 2. I want more and really only thing I get now since no more leveling up for now...

I'm so backlogged. Finished Bioshock 2. Now doing Minerva's Den. Then Infinite and all the DLC. Then I want to replay Last of US 1 plus DLC before Last of US 2. Gonna take forever to get to Last of Us 2. lol

Re: What Are You Playing? (July 2020)

Ok everyone needs to stop playing the crap they're playing () and play this (gamepass)

Damn this game is fucking sweet. The gameplay, writing, dialogue (the back & forth makes U care about all characters) , voice actors, graphics, music & sound are all fucking great. Never liked Stealth games so I almost passed on this, shit I'm glad I didn't. Yes had a couple of deaths, but they were my carelessness. I had so much fun with it and after beating it today, I decided to buy it physically. Highly recommended! All those rats

If interested $18.85

Re: What Are You Playing? (July 2020)

I stayed up way too late and finished Crackdown 3. Only got about half the orbs and didnít deliberately chase achievements, but I did everything else.

Unless I get nuts and actually start Astral Chain after all these months, Ghost of Tsushima is almost certainly the only other game Iíll play this month.

Playing through Borderlands 3 DLC. Wrapped up Guns, Love, and Tentacles and now about half way through Bounty of Blood.
Still playing Animal Crossing for at least an hour a day.

Re: What Are You Playing? (July 2020)

Good game, a nice surprise. Even-though sometimes I wanted to quit! The fucking swinging and using the slugs to get to certain collectibles ... had to 100% it.

Infamous 2- First time returning and dedicated to finishing. Doing a Hero playthrough. Great game.

Doom 2016 (PS4)- Just got the BFG so I guess I'm near the end?

Re: What Are You Playing? (July 2020)

I just finished Gris on the Switch. For me, this was more of an immersive, therapeutic experience than a "game". The platforming puzzles are pretty straightforward, but still offer a sense of accomplishment, while the visuals and music are gorgeous, blending all together to deliver a melancholy catharsis that I really needed right now.

. Recently added to Gamepass. Does have a bit sluggish controls and sometimes didn't know what to do, but enjoyed it.

Infamous: Second Son was one of three games I got with my PS4 at launch. I was really amazed on how well the game played and even how it looked at night...outstanding on capturing the Neon...I played both Hero and Villain and both equally fun...I became a big fan of Sucker Punch and day one when Ghost of Tsushima was revealed, I was all in. I hope down the road they do a Infamous 3.....

Well, technically Buzz, you are waiting for Infamous 4 as Second Son was the third game of the series. I'm also hoping that Sucker Punch make another Infamous game.

I never finished 1 and 2 but I loved everything about Second Son especially the Villain playthrough. It was much easier to go all rogue and destroy stuff than to be more diplomatic and save people.
