Seems like all the info leaked months ago was actually true about RE8.
Not sure what I think about it...
Werewolves, yet another redesign for Chris Redfield, and RE7's MC makes a return.

This is what I'm talking about - of course I'm excited as it's a resident evil game but it looks like something you would see on the 360/PS3!!! I'm really hoping all of these game previews are just showing games in very unfinished state.

I've lost all interest in this entry... and that's pretty sad since I'm a HUGE Resident Evil fan.
This one shares the shitty first person perspective of the 7th instead of something more akin to the remakes of 2 & 3.

PS5 exclusive demo is up. It's about 20 or so minutes long but looks amazing.

seems to be the route they are going in with future releases. i loved RE4, enjoying RE2 remake, haven't gotten to 3, but the jump to 1st person in 7 was pretty good imo. i liked that one a lot, though i know it has it's dissenters...

They’re redoing 4 huh? I thought they already did. It is probably my favorite game of all time or at least second, but only on Gamecube using the Wavebird. I played it on One and didn’t feel or move the same. If it has controls more in sync with GC then I’ll be wetting myself. This is the probably the one game I’ve went into and finished the most times. You know one time I did play through with just infinite ammo bazooka. That was fun. One time the infinite ammo Chicago gun. The one that spits high voltage lethal slugs, I believe. It was just so damn fun to play on suped up mode, but I also did from scratch as well. Really my top 2 favorite of all time. #1 probably being Halo: Combat Evolved.
When is that RE4 coming out? What exactly is new?

Apparently it's getting pushed back further to 2023 because Capcom wants it to be less faithful to the original.
VGC reports that, per sources close to the project, core Resident Evil studio Capcom Division 1 has taken the lead on the project, with original developer M-Two seeing its role reduced. The changes could apparently lead to a 2023 release date.
The report explains that, following a project review, M-Two was seen to be too faithful to the original game, with Capcom preferring that the remake takes inspiration from Resident Evil 4, but introduces new elements and features.

Ok, so this looks great now - visually looks much better than what the original release footage looked like. With that said, I watched the full demo that was recently released to the PS5 only and it plays and looks exactly like RE7. Not a bad thing at all but I'm wondering if any new elements will be added.
So now I'm starting to get excited to play and I hope it delivers.

I totally forgot about this. I loved 7, and got most of them though haven’t played much except for 4. So I preordered and will try out this weekend hopefully.

I’m really looking forward to taking a break (though it will be hard) from Outriders to play this. Hope it is good. Wish there were early reviews. Why embargo? 2 or so days away. Only 32 GB install which kind of makes it seem short. I hope not. I really liked 7 in FPS, but also loved 4 in 3rd person, as well as, 2 and 3. But this looks to expand and the whole Village scenery reminds me so much of 4, which is my all time fav.

File size doesn't really correlate to much. Call of Duty games are like 160gb and feature like 5 hours of single player and maybe a handful of maps.
