Just finished this. Damn good. I liked this a whole lot, but none of these have compared to RE4 imo. But this, at least the puzzles, did remind me of 4. Certainly different aspect ratio.

I'll put this here (since it's the newest thread):
Capcom is bringing Resident Evil 2 Remake, 3 Remake, and 7 to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series later this year, with free upgrades for existing owners.
The three games will receive visual enhancements for the new consoles, and those who already own them on PS4 and Xbox One will receive free digital upgrades.
Capcom also confirmed that PC versions of the games will receive upgrade patches at the same time as the PS5 and Xbox Series versions are released.
Each of the three titles will be updated to include ray tracing, high frame rate, and 3D audio. The PS5 versions will also utilize the DualSense controller's Haptic Feedback and Adaptive Triggers.

I'm late to the party but I finally started playing this last night.
Looks fantastic on PS5.
Beat my first boss this morning and having a blast thus far.

Can someone please post a link at Xbox.com for the winters expansion dlc? I can’t seem to find the page with a preorder price at all. I know I didn’t get gold edition. I got the one with Village and some dlc for 7, but doesn’t include winters dlc. Thanks in advance.

So, why is verse not available to me in my in-game menu? When I go search for it in the store it's there but says I have to buy village when I already own it. Also, I thought the DLC was free as well if you already own the game?

Nevermind, I found the RE: Verse code that came with my game....that's nonsense that you need that...if the game is already installed on your system it should be detected- ots been a century since this game released and I'm guessing a ton of people may have lost their code cards.
DLC is only free with gold edition as well. Bit of shady release. All of this should be free and easily obtainable.

Wow, Verse is complete trash. The multi-player that came with 3 was even much better than this.

Shadows of Rose is really good so far - I'm getting a silent hill vibe from it so far.
I don't know where the humor came from but multiple times in the beginning of the game they mention "it's safe". You have no weapons to start (I don't think there are any weapons but I did see ammo listed in the inventory). Rose herself even says "It's safe so I should be ok" then when you die, they label it as "You're lost" lol.
I'm only at the beginning stages but it's great and feels like a different game - I absolutely love the third person mode in this game as well - I really want them to return to it permanently or at least make it an option in future titles.

Realized I never finished the game past the Lady D, so decided to restart it up from the beginning. I will get the DLC once I actually beat it.

Re: Resident Evil Village (Xbox, PS5, PC; 5/7/2021)
So I just defeated Lady D and the one thing I noticed was that several of the weapons that bought from the Duke at really low prices have infinite ammo. It makes collecting and crafting ammo useless since I have unlimited ammo for some of these guns.
I've had the game for about 1.5 year already and only remember buying it with the "trauma pack" included, which gave me access to a few things early in the game. I had never beaten the game or bought anything else for it. I started up the game fro scratch a few days ago and noticed a 3.5GB update for it that needed installing and did that. I wonder if this new update enhanced the trauma pack I already had and made my weapons this powerful?
