Besides you know there is zero percent chance that the reviews aren't going to be very favorable. The initial release of all the main RE games all get ecstatic reviews regardless of anything else.

I don't know the thinking behind the specifics of a review embargo but two days is pretty standard these days.

According to reviews, PS5 averages around 45 FPS unless you put it into Performance Mode which turns off raytracing and lowers other quality settings.

I keep wondering how the naming of these games will progress if they want to keep using Roman Numerals.

There's really no need to still be sour a year later over how short RE3 Remake was or to learn people play games faster than you do, so why so salty still?... But I'll let you know my final playtime of Village once I complete it. I can say I've already invested more time into it though and I suspect I'm not even 25% through the game.

Excited to watch others stream this without ever playing it myself. Scary movies I can handle okay, but games are out of the question.

The lycans are bullet sponges too. They'll go down with one shotgun blast, but if you're using a handgun be prepared to unload a good amount of bullets into one before it drops.
RE8 is far more action focused than RE7. And oh boy does Ethan get put through hell. Took me a little bit to figure out exactly what was going on with the battle against Daniela.
Pretty nice homage to RE4 with

I’ll tell ya, only played few minutes, but looked gorgeous. So far just snowy terrain and dilapidated shacks, but very pretty. Not sure I like this Lycan or supernatural thing since it breaks completely from tradition, but I guess there are just so many infected/virus/zombies/etc. tales you can tell. I guess I’ll see...

I bought Resident Evil 2, 3 and 7. I haven’t been able to make myself play them though. I have a little PTSD from being the victim of a violent crime. I think playing them might trigger me. At least I bought them on sale and clearance. I only paid $40 for all three. I might as well sell them off. I’ve had them for close to year. Watching the streams aren’t too bad for me, but I think playing might be too intense for me.

Just played a bit of it but I'm too drunk and sleepy to continue. Ran into some lycan things along with a "krampus." The visuals look terrific.
