Visitors cannot pick up items that are placed (displayed), but can pick up items that are dropped.

If they are best friends they can use their shovel to dig up flowers or trees, but not if they are regular visitors.

Best friends is a designation you can request from someone who you have previously visited with. It’s a separate friend request.

If you don’t want visitors going certain places, just fence them off. Visitors can’t move fences.

Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons (3/20/20: Switch)

I am willing to bring a few trees of various fruits to your islands. I have several apple trees, peach trees and a few of the others. I'm going to pare back on the number of fruit trees on my island. I am actually looking to create a fruit orchard of the five main fruits, excluding the coconut trees. Those will stay on my beaches. After you start getting things done in the game, you realize that the island isn't really big enough or made in a way to spread out your neighbors and put it together the way you want without getting rid of some trees and moving others around. I'm open to have visitors come and check out my island if anyone is up to it. Just let me know.

I actually somehow have Yellow Rose seeds today (and I think red again). If I'm not around to open it up for you I can buy a bunch if you want.

Also, I think today is the highest my turnips went, to like 180, so thanks again DVDChris for opening up yesterday.

We only have cherries and peaches on our island. I would love to get another kind of fruit when and if it's convenient. I will be sure and leave a tip. Thank you.

Awesome, I'll be around most of today, lemme know if you open up. Otherwise, maybe a couple of 5 packs would be good.

Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons (3/20/20: Switch)

I've found some weird islands over the last week. One filled with bamboo, one with no fish just filled with water bugs, one with like 10 rocks and all of them were money, one that was stormy and only large fish so I just kept throwing back the sea bass and ended up with 4 coelacanth, 9 oarfish, and the rest all red snappers.

Although I've seen them randomly restocked in the mornings at Best Buy and amazon.

I have a huge PS4 game backlog that I need to start playing through, but it would be cool to get one so I could play with you all.

I am growing a few of each of those trees for you. Send me a friend request and I will bring the entire trees to your island.

Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons (3/20/20: Switch)

Started playing yesterday (we have two switches so we bought another copy of the game).

My wife has been playing for a few weeks.

Her Island is named Coronada and is in the Northern Hemisphere.

My island is named Adanoroc and is in the Southern Hemisphere.

When my airport opens up, I’ll try to connect with all y’all.

Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons (3/20/20: Switch)

Do we have a friends code thread buried somewhere in the forum or should we just share here?

And I promise I'll try my best not to judge you if you spend most of your day playing Gal Gun 2 or Safety First or Pantsu Hunter. I mean I'll try at least.

I'd say go ahead and share the code in here so that you are likely to get Animal Crossing connections.

I have 3 full grown trees of each type of pears, apples and oranges to bring. If you need palm trees then I can bring some of those as well. Just let me know and I will dig up the trees and come to your island. You can pick the spots and I will bury them there. I really hate that communication via the Switch is basically non-existent. I also think the in-game communication sucks and is cumbersome. I'm open to chatting via PS4 party play or or other methods. If anyone else would like to check out my island or would like for me to bring something to yours, just let me know on here.

Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons (3/20/20: Switch)

I've got Pears (native) ready to go and I've plated Peaches (from Mom) as well as Cherries and Coconuts (from my wife's island).

Later this week (when they've grown a bit), I'll post my info.

I really would like to come and see some of your islands, as well as invite you guys to come and see mine. I just ask that people are respectful of the flowers and other things on the island that can be damaged by visitors.

Give me a visit and rate my island I guess. Sounds like I'm way behind every one here .

I'm not a rate your island kind of guy. I just like to see what others do and share ideas on how to spruce up our own places. I'll send you a friend request in just a few.

I have a ton of duplicate recipes on my island for people to come and get. You only get 200 bells for selling them. Better to let friends pick them up and use them. I only ask that if you pick one up and you already know it is to drop it for someone else.

My island is now open for friends if anyone wants to stop by. I'll keep my console on while I am doing some stuff here at home.
