Bunny Day can't be over soon enough. I saw an egg balloon overhead while a decent sized fish was swimming close to me. I decided to forgo the egg and catch the fish. It turned out to be an egg. I have already crafted every single bunny recipe and have sold at least 60 of each of the 6 egg types. In my storage I still have:
146 Earth Eggs - 240 Leaf Eggs.
119 Sky Eggs - 147 Stone Eggs
79 Water Eggs - 97 Wood Eggs
Yes, this can't be over soon enough.

Just a heads up you should never just sell the eggs you get double the eggs worth if you sell a crafted item you make with them. The Zippy toy is the best to sell because it takes up a lot of eggs at once and then the Bunny Day Dress.

Do wands do anything? I had the star fragments so I was able to make it but what's their point?

It doesn't even change your outfit, it basically reserves items for an outfit and then "magically" puts that outfit over your own outfit. So you can't put on the items "reserved" for that outfit any more and you have to change back to replace your real outfit. And it takes up a space in your favorites. I don't really understand the point (I have the star wand, not sure if the fish wand is any different).

Personally I thought the best reward was the little toy recipe that he gives you before the wand. I like the design of it. However, I'm definitely glad that shit is all over. What a terrible event. I think 7 days at MOST would be enough for even the most casual of players to acquire everything.
Also, thanks for opening your island Decker! I didn't think I would ever get an apple.
Now, I'm hoping for some good turnip prices this week. I bought at 98, and I spent about 750k on them. I'm hoping for some 300 prices at least.

Are these Bunny Day recipes going to be in my crafting inventory forever? I was hoping to never have to see those again after yesterday.

I don't see why they wouldn't. Crafting recipes don't go away.

I still haven't caught one but I haven't seen it rain since the first week.
Nothing seems to go away. I still have cherry blossom petals, and eggs in storage. I need to find someone to make the cherry blossom walls, and plants since I never got those DIYs. I also still need bamboo after 6 Nook Miles islands I still haven't came across the one with bamboo.

Those Coelacanths sells for 15k bells apiece. Also, the Oarfish, after scaring the piss out of you, will sell for 9k. If you have enough storage, you can stow away the more expensive fish that you catch and save them until CJ comes. He will give you 1.5 in value. I have over 150 hours into this damn game.
Peacock butterflies are the best bet for money making. They sell for 2500 bells and will often be found with 2 of them flying around. I have flowers outside of my house and they are oftentimes there during the daytime. If they are not, I run away or go inside and back out and they will soon show up. You can fill up your inventory slots with them and unload your inventory of them for around 100k. I usually dump all of my equipment except for two nets.

Peacock Butterflies are the "Market Inefficiency" of Animal Crossing. I hope they don't patch that but I bet they will.

I just did the 10 Minute Butterfly Challenge.
I started in my house right at 3:45 in the afternoon. I set my timer for 10 minutes and started it before heading out. I also took a second net with me and I am glad that I did because my first net broke in the middle of the challenge. I sold them to Nook's Cranny for their regular price.
These were my results:
Peacock Butterflies (18 of them at 2500 each)
Rajah Brooke's Birdwing (1 of them at 2500 each)
Agrias Butterfly (1 of them at 3000 each)
Madagascan Sunset Moth (1 of them at 2500 each)
Paper Kite Butterfly (2 of them at 1000 each)
Common Bluebottle (1 of them at 300 each)
Total made in 10 minutes of swinging: 55,300 bells.
I'd say that is a decent 10 minutes of playtime. If you want to give this challenge a go, just remember that you are only a swinger for 10 minutes at a time.

March was even better when the Emperor butterflies ($4000) were crazy plentiful. The Peacocks seem to have taken their place in April (at a lower value).
