Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20
I don’t like the new Xbox home page. But, is there a way to show cover art of last game played, like before? I was able to set it to a Starfield background, but I’m not playing it and I liked it showed what I just played in background. Thanks for any help.

I liked New Vegas but I greatly preferred 4. Even 3 I liked more than New Vegas.

Yeah, that 75/25 sales split (admittedly from the worst of supply chain challenge time) was really surprising. Probably a lot of sales to folks who just wanted a 'next gen' console, and that's what was available. I wouldn't be surprised if some percentage of those buyers were also XSX or even PS5 owners who wanted access to Game Pass or their existing library, or wanted a backup/bedroom/travel console. When I bought my XSX and before I traded in my One, I jokingly mentioned hooking up the One in the bedroom or main room - I got shut down quickly
This is not specific to XSX/XSS but may be more obvious with the XSS/XSX split - Have your thoughts on disk/digital changed over the past five years?
I used to be a hardcore disk person - I wanted the physical, resellable/tradeable, not-dependent-on-storefront version. But since getting the XSX, I've bought maybe five or six physical releases, and they were all on sale. I've bought dozens of digital releases (although I wait for them to go on sale as well.) I realized I really don't trade or resell physical games that much, and the convenience of the digital is hard to beat. I definitely have concerns with video game history and longevity (I know there's at least one game I purchased digitally and now can't play even single player), and I wish they would come up with a way to transfer/resell games, but I found I am buying a lot more digital than physical. I would imagine the younger the gamer is, the less resistance there is to digital (or less stickiness to physical). (I would still recommend the XSX over XSS for reasons of specs and hard drive size.)

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20
I still very heavily favor physical, but I do prefer to go digital if it's an extremely short game -- like, I loved A Short Hike and Venba, but I don't need a physical copy for a game that's basically the length of a movie and will probably never be replayed -- or if it's something extremely pick-up-and-play.
If I were doing it all over again, I'm not sure I would've gotten a physical copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons; swapping out cartridges when my wife plays that and I want to play something else on the Switch has sincerely impacted what I play and when, as silly as that sounds. I was mulling over buying the Limited Run release of Rifftrax: The Game, but why wait 9 months for a copy to ship for $35 or whatever when I could buy it digitally for $10 and play it minutes later? Again, that's something where swapping carts/discs just sounds like a needless hassle.

What’s the best way to clean a controller? Specifically, the Elite controller. It’s getting dusty since I prefer my PS5 and I don’t want to get dust and shit under the buttons.

Dammit Xbox, stop releasing new gorgeous controllers I irrationally want but absolutely don't need!

I just got this. For reasonable price. Not sure why exactly, but I guess it’s good to have a backup controller. What was retail price, $70?

I thought they come with a pack you just have to plug in and play. I don’t even see them on Amazon. Where do I get a rechargeable battery pack in white?
