The top-selling video game of the year isn't going to be discounted a week or two after it debuts on the XSX.
Yes it might be discounted on the PS5, but like GTA V or RDR 2 it might be too big a third-party hit title to be discounted in the first year at all.

I mean COD: MW2 released end of October (I think) and was 55 on Black Friday. If it's not published by Nintendo all bets are off.

Games with Gold goes out, if not with a bang, at least with an apparently very solid arcade racer I've had my eye on for a while.

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20
Anyone else thinking about picking up Borderlands Collection: Pandora's Box while it's $29.99 (if you own one of the games digitally)?
I evidently only own BL3 on Xbox One (with the 1st season pass), and I have BL1 (360), BL2 (360), and Tales from GWG. At some point I had downloaded Borderlands 2, and the Pre-Sequel when they were part of Gamepass, but since they are no longer part of the library they do not work anymore.
The box includes...
Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition
Borderlands 2
Borderlands 2: Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary
Borderlands 2 Ultra HD Texture Pack
Borderlands 3
Borderlands 3: Boost Mods Pack
Borderlands 3 Butt Stallion Cosmetic Pack
Borderlands 3 Gearbox Cosmetic Pack
Borderlands 3 Gold Weapon Skins Pack
Borderlands 3 Neon Cosmetic Pack
Borderlands 3 Retro Cosmetic Pack
Borderlands 3 Toy Box Weapons Pack
Season Pass
Borderlands 3: Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot
Borderlands 3: Guns, Love, and Tentacles
Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood
Borderlands 3: Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck
Season Pass 2
Borderlands 3: Designer's Cut
Borderlands 3: Director's Cut
Borderlands 3: Multiverse Disciples of the Vault Amara Cosmetic Pack
Borderlands 3: Multiverse Final Form Amara Cosmetic Pack
Borderlands 3: Multiverse Disciples of the Vault FL4K Cosmetic Pack
Borderlands 3: Multiverse Final Form FLAK Cosmetic Pack
Borderlands 3: Multiverse Disciples of the Vault Moze Cosmetic Pack
Borderlands 3: Multiverse Final Form Moze Cosmetic Pack
Borderlands 3: Multiverse Disciples of the Vault Zane Cosmetic Pack
Borderlands 3: Multiverse Final Form Zane Cosmetic Pack
Borderlands: The Pre-Seguel
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Ultra HD Texture Pack
Tales from the Borderlands
New Tales from the Borderlands
New Tales from the Borderlands: Adventure Capital Pack

Interesting - I guess I don't "own" any of the games digitally, though I have pretty much all of them on disc. 60 bucks is a great price for all that for someone who doesn't have any, and 30 is awesome.
I wonder if it would give me the discounted price if I bought the 9.99 Handsome Collection. That would still save 20 bucks. Or if it's prorated for the content you own like bundles are on Steam.
Edit - I went on my XSX, and apparently I have Borderlands 360 in my Owned; not sure if it was a GWG or bonus with something else or if I bought it. Anyway, searching for Pandora collection in the store on the console showed me the 29.99 price, versus the store on xbox.com, which showed me 59.99. I've got pretty much all the BL3 content but not everything else and that seems like a good price to get the benefit of digital version.

If you dl'ed Tales from the Borderlands when it was GwG, this seems to be enough to get the $29.99 price. It's the only digital X1 game I have from the series. Someone who has the discount price can also gift it so you may be able to get it that way.

I have 1 and 2 BC in my collection, but getting the $59.99 price. Maybe it’s because I have them on disc but not digitally. I only played part of the first one, but I have too much to play already.

Yep that's why...we have the same issue on PS5 when trying to get deals or upgrades with Disc vs Digital. it's a shame there is no real way for them to "SEE" the game no matter Digital or Disc......other than that, anyone who has played or not played the Borderlands games or just one of...it's really loaded and a heck of a deal....

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20
The FTC leaked a metric ton of stuff about Microsoft’s plans for the next few years.
There will be no Xbox One X-style mid-gen revision. Revisions, yes — including a 2 TB digital-only Series X — but no additional power under the hood.
Upcoming releases include remasters of Fallout 3 and Oblivion, a Ghostwire Tokyo sequel, Dishonored 3, and Doom Year Zero.

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20
Damn, the leaks are massive. Some of that documentation looks pretty out of date (Starfield in 2021?
) but it shows a lot of the company’s plans and such.
With the size of this leak, and the fact that it was done by the FTC after basically losing their attempted lawsuit against MS, I wonder if MS has grounds to sue the FTC for negligence in handling so many sensitive documents.
EDIT: FTC guy says they didn’t leak these.
There’s even one outlining what they paid (or intended to pay) to have big games on Game Pass. They thought they’d get Baldurs Gate 3 for $5, but I suspect that’ll change given how insanely popular that game ended up being.
yeah, but in contrast, Elder Scrolls Online was noted to have continued development on all platforms. I think either of those could change, not that they would be obligated to make a deal one way or another.

Yea...per the MS Docs...but frankly a majority said and thought this would be the case...BUT...the game won't be out till 2026 at earliest per Bethesda...which probably is not to happy about this since Howard said back in 2020 that it would be hard to imagine not bringing ESO 6 to multiple platforms. Trouble is, M.S is their Daddy and what Daddy says goes....ESO's player bas is largely driven by PC Players that outcount both XBox and PlayStation Players combined....However, PlayStation Players outnumber XBox Players......there's been a lot of discussions on the official forums as to the Fate of ESO5 once ESO6 comes out and it it would be XB and PC Only. No-way Bethesda can support both 5 & 6 while at the same time in the past, they made it know ESO5 wasn't going away...but then again, M.S might tell them to pull the plug.....won't know for at least another three yrs....

Only Oblivion (which I didn’t care for) will. Fallout 3 is much of the same as Fallout 4 as far as combat with VATS and leveling/exploring. Sure your character talks but that’s overrated anyway. The perks are similar although I like the perks leveling system much better in FO4.

Maybe the mist amazing thing that leaked this week is that 75% of people who own a Series Xbox own a Series S. Seriously, what are they thinking?

I recall the Nex Gen Update Coming was announced awhile back....like October 2022...and had a lot of players excited me included. Based on what I've seen with some current Remastered Games say Dead Space.....I diod some looking around and still no Nex Gen Update and still a lot out there asking and wondering when..... From Two Months Ago...this person thinks it'll be November and made a point of not coming till AFTER Starfield....

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20
Those were older numbers when the Series X was severely supply-constrained. Circana (who you probably know better when they were called NPD) currently pegs the S at a little more than half of Series ownership in the U.S. Still the majority, but a slim one.
