you must've "copied" them rather than moved them. Keep in mind, games dl from Gamepass must be kept on your internal drive to work-- at least in my experience.

Fucking finally. Those Seagate prices were ludicrous in 2020 and remain so today.

I love this. A new XSX controller made with repurposed and recycled parts, for Earth Day. Looks great as well.
Too bad I don't need another one.

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20

The more games I play on Game Pass, the more I dislike the Xbox controller, specifically the sticks. They're too tall and too loose - there is not enough resistance in the movement for my taste.

For anyone with the Elite controller, I know shorter sticks are available to install, but can you adjust the tension at all? If not, do the sticks feel any different to the standard controller?

Yes you can adjust the tension, thank goodness. I’d even prefer they go a bit tighter but as I recall there’s three settings.

Nice, thanks! I'll keep an eye out for an open box or refurb.

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20

So the Seagate storage drives are finally on sale for prices that are closer -- but still not close enough -- to the prices of the M.2 storage you can get for PS5.
Still far from great, but better than it's been for the last 2.5 years.

512GB = $89.99
1TB = $149.99
2TB = $279.99

Still $50 to $80 more than it should be by this point, IMO.

I don’t think I like that. No, not at all. Looks more like PS5 Home Screen. No likey.

Can't be worse than the current one. I had to Google the free game titles and search for them manually because I couldn't figure out where to go to get the Free with Gold/GPU.

I believe there’s an unremovable tab when you scroll to bottom of Xbox homepage. Game Pass. Under all your add to homepage games. Tells you all GP games and free ones and stuff.

I got to Gamepass, but that only shows what's available to play free, not the free games to "buy."

Why would you want to buy a free game?

She means the Games With Gold.
I was able to add a tab to find those offered because it's almost impossible to find the freebies without them. But the games have been sooooo awful in the past year that I never even bother any more.

That said, there's an old but not-terrible game for free this month.

Ahhh. Yeah, you can get to the games with gold pretty easy though through the tab.

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20

My ritual is searching Google for “games gold May 2023” (or whatever the month is). The Xbox Wire post is almost always one of the first results, and they include direct links to the Xbox store. I login and click “get” from there.

I’m sure there’s a better way, but that’s what I do. It has the advantage of not downloading the game(s) automatically, which I do remember being an annoyance when I’d redeem them on-console.

You can redeem Games with Gold on any ol' web browser. You can only play those on Xbox, but you can say "give this to me!" on any device.

With Game Pass Ultimate, yeah, you have access to PC games.

Dammit I could have had years and years of free xbox games. I've owned an Xbox for a couple of months but ultimate for years. I didn't k ow I could have been buying the gold games all this time.

Took me seconds to buy the new one on the phone!

My pet peeve with games with gold is that unlike PS Plus, it defaults to installing them instead of just redeeming them. Is there a way to turn that off? I just want to add to my backlog, not actually play the game. Sheesh.

It is annoying. After I claim something, I go immediately to my queue and cancel the install.

I find the GwG stuff by going to the UGP page and scrolling down like eight rows.
