Yeah it’d be more fun if they let you crash instead of a blank screen or maybe had random facts about POI’s.

Yeah apparently you can do real life weather and air traffic.

Man, I would love to play this, but I suck at flying games.

It is very easy to fly. They even have an AI assistant that will take over if you do something stupid (which I frequently did).

Is D3 any good? I think 2 got hammered. 1 was decent.

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20

I am probably remembering wrong but I thought 3 was more of the same, got ok reviews, but basically hadn't moved on or evolved while other games in the genre had. So my impression at the time was if you liked DS1 and 2 you'd like 3.

Now the sequel after that was completely different and trashed by a lot of people.

It depends on who you ask I suppose. #1 was Zelda-ish, #2 was more open world and took cues from Diablo, #3 went a bit "Metroidvania" or Souls-like.

Darksiders Genesis went top-down and is just entirely different.

Hey, I was right! There was indeed another restock around 45 minutes ago. (Sold out at this point, of course.)

Not a bad price, but might jump on getting one of these if/when they hit $150...

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20

Aren’t these SSDs supposed to get bigger in size and less expensive? I know I don’t need to be but I’m like maxed out on both and I only play 1 game at a time. I just want to have quick access to the optimized games for reasons even I don’t get.

They're substantially faster, not cheaper.

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20

If a game is listed as “Xbox One X enhanced” what exactly does that mean? I know the X/S is shown for Series X enhanced games and know those play better, faster on SSD, but wasn’t aware of One enhanced games. Thanks.

Enhanced for the Xbox One X (the more 4K capable model that came out in November 2017).

Gotcha. Thanks Adam. So it’s not performance upgrade like Series X, just visual?

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20

Thanks. So if enhanced for One, it will look the same on One as Series X, or would Series X make it look even a little bit better?

There isn’t a hard and fast answer. A game can be enhanced for the One X but not the Series X, looking essentially the same on both consoles. But a game can also be enhanced for both consoles, with the Series X looking/performing better than the One X, which in turn looks/performs better than the base XB1.

Cool. Either way Darksiders Warmastered Edition looks and plays great. Everything I love really. Exploration, nice, easy fighting mechanics that enhance as you go along. Strategy for bosses. Platforming. Blood and demon guts. Really great mesh and 2 more games to go! Think DLC too. SP quest?

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20

Well it looks like I’m in the market for a Series X now. I was hoping I’d be able to upgrade my PCs GPU this year but they are next to impossible to find. So I figure that with a Series X and PS5, I’ve bought myself another year or two with my 1070, which works fine for what I’m using my PC for.

I’m guessing that following Wario on Twitter is still the best way to get one of these. Are there any stores that seem to restock more frequently than others? Seems like I see them pop up directly from Microsoft more often than not.

Yeah, they’ve been popping up on the Microsoft Store at 6 PM (Eastern) on Thursdays for at least 3 weeks now. Hopefully it’ll be the same story tomorrow for you (if you don’t snag one sooner!).
