Usual day 1 purchase for me but I may skip this year unless they make changes that I find interesting. Not that I think the game is bad by any means but it's been a lot of the same every year. If they don't make any changes, I'll skip 2020 and probably get back into it in 2021.

Nice, this is a likely buy for me this year. Haven't played videogame baseball of late and figured it's time to dip back into the waters.

Probably not the greatest because he drank himself to an early decline. It is funny how much Trout and Mantle mirror each other besides Mantle being a switch-hitter.

I pre-ordered this against my better judgement. I will have no time to play it but it looks fantastic and I want to support the company. I'm also really, really hoping they bring this to the X1 / Xbox Next next year.

Wasn't it announced recently The Show would hit other platforms? MLB realized their premier videogame needed to be on all platforms.

Kind of off topic but not completely. I got a PS4 a couple years ago to play the Sony exclusives (became Xbox gamer after ps2) and want to jump back in to baseball games. Is there a general consensus of which version of The Show is the best? I thought I might go back a few years and buy used to save a few bucks and make sure I would still enjoy it.

I absolutely love the fact they put some authentic signage in stadiums. Obviously no beer ads but we get John Hancock and Citgo at Fenway, Delta at Yankee Stadium, Coca-Cola at Oracle Park, Chevrolet at Comerica, and Chick Fil-a at Minute Maid to name a few.

I think 2016 was the last edition I bought. Bought a digital copy of the 2020 edition since I'm going to be stuck at home for the foreseeable future

I once did a test to see how many pitchers I could get thrown out. I must have hit every Cubs player 5 times. I was down to my last pitcher and then they wouldn’t throw him out. I wanted to get a position player on the mound! Maybe you can now.

Been playing this game more than any other during quarantine. Chose a random team to do the March to October feature with (ended up with the Pirates). Up to late August and the team's projected to win 100 games.

One thing I don't like about this feature is that you're always thrust into the 7th or 8th inning of games; you rarely get to play as the SP. Also, it doesn't appear you're able to change your lineup and rotation.

I'm pretty good at pitching, even at the advanced difficulties, but I'm a mediocre hitter. Even Rookie level pitching is capable of shutting down my hitting. Like hitters in real life, breaking balls sweeping away are absolute killers for me.

You’ll get used to it. Just play on veteran more often. I love playing on rookie and dominating but Diamond Dynasty stuff I play on veteran. And March to October has a dynamic difficulty that adjusts to how much you suck or kick ass, so it’s cool.
