Zombie Army 4: Dead War Feasts on Your Flesh in February 2020

Sniper Elite dev Rebellion has announced that Zombie Army 4: Dead War will be transporting players back to a World War II hellscape in February 2020, for more undead blasting shenanigans. The game is available to pre-order now, granting access to the Undead Airman Character Pack for free. In said DLC pack, you'll get Hector, a British zombie with a "very stiff upper lip".

Zombie Army 4 will take you to the gurgling canals of Venice and a Croation zoo that's become "home to mortal terror" that includes pouncing Creepers, zombie tanks, and other nasties. Expect buckets of blood and viscera, as you and your band of survivors strive to keep the undead hordes at bay.

A Collector's Edition of Zombie Army 4: Dead War will also be available at retail, bundling the game with a "horrifying" 10-inch Zombie Shark Figurine, 60-page artbook, steelbook case, digital soundtrack sampler, and the Undead Airman Pack DLC, in an exclusive Collector’s Edition box. A Super Deluxe Edition will also be on offer, featuring DLC bonuses like three extra campaign levels, four new character packs, nine new weapon bundles, five weapon skin packs, and four character outfit packs. Alternatively, there's the Zombie Army 4 Deluxe Edition with the Undead Airman Pack, Solid Gold Weapon Pack, FG-24 Semi-Auto Rifle Bundle, and Undercover Karl Character Outfit Pack.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on 4th February 2020. Check out the new gameplay trailer below.

Never played any of the others and frankly this is the first time I've seen a trailer on this....and it looks pretty good and fun. Does this have matchmaking, drop -in...works like Killing Floor where you can join a lobby and do a map?

Looks fun actually... but I can't see paying more than $20 for this or waiting until it's on GwG or Live Game Pass.

I played the first one a little bit, but didn't get far before moving on to something else. I don't remember why though. The game was fun and I always wanted to return to it.

Years later I saw a trilogy was out and it was dirt cheap, so I bought it on Steam for about $6. However, still I never actually went back to play it.

Now there is a 4th on the way... however I hear it's a timed Epic Games Store exclusive? If so I'll have to pass until it goes to Steam. EGS' website is so insecure that my account (which I only have for the weekly free games they offer) keeps getting hijacked despite their crappy 2FA which clearly isn't working as intended. So I don't trust inputting my credit card details.

You push down on the d-pad to shoot, right button jumps, left trigger sprints, double left on d-pad will reload, both thumb-sticks pushed up and then immediately down in perfect synchronicity will make you cartwheel.

This looks like a similar structure to World War Z, Remnant From the Ashes, and the Vermentide series. Basically one long killing spree over the course of a fairly large environment, with some objectives sprinkled in there, mini bosses along the way and a main boss at the end. If this can be played with randoms, then I'll likely pick this up, provided the reviews are decent.

So I bought this at full price and never knowing that previous Zombie Army games existed... it's a lot of fun. I highly recommend it if you're in the market for some 3rd person shooting fun featuring crotch shooting kill-cams.

Heads up : the Season Pass One which was $34.99 is free now, at least on the PS4. Nice bonus for the game that was free for PS Plus a few months ago.
