Anyone play Little Nightmares I or II? The PS store has the pair and all dlc for $15. Wondering if it’s worth it.

All that for $15? Sure. It's kind of like Inside or Limbo, an atmospheric, slow indie platformer/puzzle game.

It's not all of the DLC for Little Nightmares I - it doesn't include The Maw... and it only includes the base game of LN2 (the DLC for that $9.99).

But for $15, that is a great price and I would jump on it, but I already have the first version for PS4 and the Switch.

I played the first game and liked it well enough. Some truly scary scenes and some very intense level design.

If you've got $15 laying around, I say go for it.

A third one has been announced, but no real details yet.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

Having PS + Premium for most of the year sure did have me doing more gaming.

I noticed that having quit PS+ for a week, now I "qualify" for a 30% annual membership (for Extra or Premium). So I signed back up. We'll see if I get my money's worth of gameplay in 2024, since I played a lot on the Extra tier in 2023.

I wasn't sure if it would ... but I didn't lose any of the monthly "free" games I claimed. I didn't have access to them for the week I wasn't a member, but they all came back now.

Hogwarts was my top played game (because I played BG3 on PC). Just over 60 hours and was 24% of my time.

You reached the limit, huh?

Just be careful leaving a bunch in your account and having it tied to a funding source. Hackers look for accounts like yours. Why have so much in there?

PS Plus Extra games for December.
If you've been on the fence about getting GTA 5 for the past 8 years, now's your chance!

When a particular game says (with a notification when start up) Game hints available, is there a button press to see the hint? I think Iíve tried every button and thought it was the PS5 button, but itís not. Thanks.

My advice for the future would be to put on there what you need at the moment and maybe a few dollars more.

PS button in game brings up the cards. if you are actively in a mission you can often see hints about the part you are -- including videos.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

My gameplay time was around 37 hours this yearÖ but if they counted the hours Iíve watched streaming services, Blu-rayís, and UHD movies via my PS5, itíd be in the hundreds. 😉

Edit to add: I use my PS5 as my entertainment center because I have the 3D Pulse Headphones.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

The backbone (lightning connector) playstation edition is on sale at Costco for 50 bucks and includes 25 dollars in PSN credit.

It's basically a controller add on for an iphone with lightning connector, I'm just posting it here because even though you can use it with an Xbox too, if you don't have a Sony console the 25 dollars in PSN is worthless.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

Found Decker's original review of it back in this thread:

I tried it out last night (after taking the case off my Galaxy S23 Ultra, which was NOT easy). It works okay. I was able to play in my bedroom off the PS5 in the TV room downstairs. There was some lag. I could play Lego 2K Drive, but it wasnít ideal. I tried to play Pinball FX and it was comical how badly it ran. For games with less need for a high frame rate like Midnight Suns, it did work okay, but the text was really hard to read (I ordered a pair of stronger magnifying glasses to use with the screen in the future). But for $99 itís not bad. I got it from Best Buy and have that extended warranty thing ó itís pretty likely I will return it within the 2 years for a refund or maybe to get the Sony streaming product instead, but for now itís pretty cool. I canít imagine it works well at all outside of the house with the PS5. Havenít tried it with the Game Pass Cloud service but suspect that will work better.

Full list of Insomniac games coming over the next 8 years has leaked. New R&C is pretty far away, but thereís a whole lot of Marvel to fill that time.
