I was totally unfamiliar with Death's Door, but it looks pretty cool.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

Death's Door was one of my favourite games from 2021. I bought it before it hit Game Pass... then re-bought it on Switch. Maybe I'll play it on PS5, too.

edit: if you're a Trophy/Achievement hunter... start the game, don't attack ANYTHING until you find the umbrella, then keep it equipped as your weapon for the entire game. Otherwise, you'll be playing the entire game twice.

Amongst the many features they are testing, it also includes the ability to add an 8TB SSD hard drive.

Do you two want a System Software Beta code?
I have 3 uses of it to give away.
Let me know here, along with anyone else (but you two get first dibs).

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

Been testing out the beta Atmos on streaming from ATV+, Netflix, Disney, etc., and it all works. What does throw me off and it's being spoiled, is that there's no DV available. Streaming gets 4K HDR / Atmos only. If there's something that has DV, it will automatically default to 4K HDR.

Also, please keep in mind that the PS5 always had Atmos capability for 4K discs, not streaming. With this new update, it enables Atmos for streaming content where available.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

I have this weird thing going on with my TCL tv where on the 3 aux tiles which I have my PS5, Switch, and PS3 every once in awhile when I turn on my TV and scroll past the PS5 tile to get to Switch my PS5 will randomly boot up. Only happens like once every ten times I turn on my TV and go to the Switch tile but it's weird. And if I try to get it to do it by just highlighting or staying on the PS5 tile nothing. It's annoying because then I have to go up and turn the PS5 off.

Yeah, look in the settings for each console and disable anything that says HDMI-CEC or similar.

There's a Back to School sale on PS5 consoles, controllers and games at all retailers. Disc consoles are $449.99 and controllers are $49.99.

Speaking of controllers...my original one that came with system started having issues not holding the charge....it would show full, done on charging station but when I started playing within 30-45 minutes get the "battery running low" message....so after looking around I found a decent video showing how to open and swap the battery...naturally in the video it all just opens up so easy and effortlessly but that wasn't the case when prying apart eh casing along the seams of the top and bottom....thought i was about the break it.....but it came apart after using a small flathead screwdriver...tool that came was cheap... and taking this one apart is night and day better than PS4 Controller. I grabbed a battery off Amazon and most seem close the same but they're all for amore stronger than the OE battery which clocks in at 1560 mAh....you can find them from 2000 to even 4000 mAh....I have not ran mine until this morning for a short time to see how the charge is...

Battery I got off Amazon ....
Amazon.com: Batmax 4000mAh LIP1708 Battery for Sony PS5 Playstation 5 Dual Sense Controller CFI-ZCT1W Gamepad : Video Games Amazon.com: Batmax 4000mAh LIP1708 Battery for Sony PS5 Playstation 5 Dual Sense Controller CFI-ZCT1W Gamepad : Video Games

Video I went off showing how to replace battery.....

Thanks. Redeemed but it didn't download anything. It shows in my transaction history though. Weird. Was it a timed offer?

Holy crap. SSD prices have cratered. 2TB for $66-$100. Not all listed are PS5 compatible and several don't come with heat sink.
