All of you told Oldboy to not get the larger ssd except for me. Who did he end up listening to? He's future ready for GTA VI, which will likely be a few hundred gigs.

Do PS4 games play better on the SSD? Faster and stuff I would assume?

Same as the last time you asked.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

Being able to stream your owned digital games instead of downloading them feels pretty huge. Wish I could do it to my phone (would make that Backbone One really useful), but this is a great start. Guess the next phase is that portable handheld thing they showed at the Showcase is the next phase. I think this might be the end of me buying physical games.

Yeah, I had the Extra tier of Plus, had no intention of upgrading to Premium. Upgraded to troubleshoot some stuff for my niece and ended up really liking the streaming of PS4 games. Can't wait to be able to stream PS5 games.

Having the Premium for some time now, I wish I could drop down to Extra, and have the difference in price tacked on to my subscription. I don't really use the Premium stuff. When it gets closer to my expiration date, I'll get a deal on subscription plans, and then renew at Extra.

In a weird way that's one of the reasons I never bothered to upgrade, because you can't downgrade when extending during one of these deals, you have to let it expire (and I don't think there's a way to "save" a code if you buy it on PSN, which is likely to be the only source of discounts for PS Plus in the near future)

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

There have been a couple of PSP and Vita games I have been wanting to go back and play, and Killzone Liberation is one of them. Glad to see it on the list and other than TMNT it's probably the only one I will def download.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

So space is running low on my internal SSD. I think I have around 160GB left. When I got the system last summer, it was 800GB, which I assume is default for most new systems. I think only around 600+ GB was usable for installing games. Finally gave in and bought a new 2TB SSD. It's absurd how fast the built in drive runs out. My NBA 2K23 updates are eating up so much space. I think I only have like 4 PS5 games installed. I had to put all the PS4 games on the external 4TB hard drive.

Here it is. Bought it from Best Buy for $139 plus tax and free shipping. Reviews seem good and it has a heatsink, which I know is important. I've watched a few YouTube videos and it seems pretty easy to install.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

You'll have no problem installing the drive. It took me longer to unhook/hook back up the console than it did to actually put the drive in.

NBA 2k is absolutely atrocious at eating space (and also killing your session because it needs to update so it can show you more ads).

Yeah, definitely one of the first games I am going to take advantage of the streaming option once it's available.
