I won't lie, I've been tempted. but I don't want to buy a new one if apple decides they want to change the port...

I'm surprised at Dragon's Dogma II. I loved the first one, and figured there was no chance for a second after all this time. That's probably the one I'm most excited about, although there's a bunch in there I know nothing about.

It's not just to stream PS games. It's a full controller for all mobile games. The "PS" edition is simply colored differently than the standard black model. I've had it for iPhone for at least a year and it's by far the best mobile controller available IMO.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20
Even though I already have 2k23, that seems like an ok month.
2k23 is filled with microtransactions and crap designed to sell you microtransactions (I don't really want to skateboard around the city, thank you) but if you just want to play with existing teams or as Jordan, it's great. Note the other scummy thing is that they shut down the online servers like 2 years or so after launch so buying it late means you have that much less time to play online (and you cannot continue myplayer without online).

I was totally unaware of Trek to Yomi, but it looks kinda cool. Now I want to check it out.

That quite literally has nothing to do with my comment or this thread, but ok. Should I mention that Trek and JP have both been on Game Pass for over a year, the former being a day one addition?

I think it makes sense saying Games with Gold, which is the Plus Essential equivalent, sucks for the offered games and be grateful that Sony is doing a bit better. Bringing Gamepass into it moves the goalposts a bit.

Yeah, I didn't know that Trek was a GP game. They do have a lot of good games on that service, but I don't dig into that service as much as I should -- partially because I never know when a non-MS published game is going to be pulled. Also, as fuji said, PS Plus Essential is equivalent in price and services to Gold Live, and they consistently provide objectively higher profile, bigger, often better free monthly games -- even if many I am not too interested in, at least I've heard of most of them.

I mean you know Decker, he will take any chance to put down Xbox and you just opened the door for him.

The need to compare the 2 is gross and just a leftover of console waring that shouldn't be a thing anymore.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20
Playstation Plus provides "free" full games just about every month. Here, scroll through the list, from the bottom. Let me know the last month a full game wasn't offered :
https://playstation.fandom.com/wiki/...(North_America)
Here's the Games With Gold list. Scroll up. Last "full" game I see offered was Tropico 5 in Dec 2021.

It's a different strategy in the service. And I would say that Xbox puts its effort towards Game Pass, which is a significantly better offering that PlayStation Plus Extra.
But to deny that at the basic tier, Sony is significantly outpacing MS is just disingenuous -- even if some of those $20 indie games are really good.

It's gross to compare the "free" games provided by the two identically-priced game services? Really?

Maybe I just don't remember Decker's posting history on this but the dogpile for something that is kind of relevant to the thread is kind of surprising to me. Better to just drop it, I guess.

These are some of the most over dramatic posts I've seen here in awhile. I really hope this is parody.
