Did the Wii ever have HDMI?

Nope, the Wii had one of those proprietary A/V ports and never made a first party HDMI version. There were 3rd party solutions available though.

Neither the OG nor dumbed down release had it natively.

That would be fine with me. I only have a PS4 for the VR function, 3D movies and the occasional exclusive first party games so I am in no hurry to replace my PS4. Hell, I just got it less than 2 years ago.

I am always years behind on the PS anyway. Hell, I just finished God Of War yesterday.

re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

I have all of the God of War games, never played any of them. My backlog goes back to PS2, lol.

At this point, I should wait until the remaster the entire series for PS5, so I can buy them all again.

^And still not play them. You're not the only one that has bought the entire console series and not finish a single one.

re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

I may have told this embarrassing story before but many, many years ago I received a demo disc for the PS2 about some dude that jumps around hacking at people. I played it for five minutes before ejecting the disc and tossing it aside thinking that they had chosen a poor concept for a game demo and that nobody would want to play it.

Fast forward a bit and everybody is heralding the coming of the greatest new franchise ever, God of War.

Yup, same game.

So if you are a PS Plus member, should everything transfer to the PS5? Mainly, I'm talking about what's in your wallet. I have thought about buying some PlayStation gift cards and adding them to my wallet, so I would be ready to shop on day one.

Absolutely will. They've been great about transferring both purchases and your wallet forward through several console generations.

Actually that Castlevania game for the DS looks to fetch a fair amount too.

Google needs to brush up on its math.
I do hope it is this week because the waiting game is annoying.

I don't know where Google's getting that from, but that's not true -- or at least not all of it. I placed my preorder for the PS4 (and the XB1) at Amazon on June 10th, 2013. At the very least, we had a price.

They put up the PS4 for pre-order right after their E3 presentation in June of 2013.

Deathloop delayed. Pretty sure this had PS5 launch exclusivity.

It's only a price increase if you want to play it on both consoles...

Standard edition works ONLY on PS4/Xbox One X. Go to the link. To play on PS5 or Series X, you have to pay $10 more. Sure you get "feature" of backward compatibility in addition, but if you have newest system, you likely aren't playing on older system.

Registration to preorder PS5 directly from Sony: https://www.playstation.com/en-us/ca...ct-pre-orders/

Appears to be some sort of lottery-like system.
