Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20
This might be overkill, but the prices have gotten so low, I went and got a 4TB SSD for my PS5.
I almost got a 2tb, but figured I'd regret that down the line, and the 4 should serve me well for the life of the console, which I feel has just started.
I got the Nextorage ssd, which seems to be made specifically for the PS5, and has gotten great reviews.

You have 3 GB of on board storage. That's tons. Just buy a cheap external HDD and move downloaded games you aren't playing onto that.

Yeah. I should be good. I actually have an 8TB and 2TB hooked to it as well. I’m about 50% total storage. I just probably would have gotten 4 to future proof, but I see I got the 1TB for like $130, so that’s not bad.

I hate building games, but that might still be fun to play as a raider. Nice were getting a brand new game as a freebie. Haven't had that in a while.

I decided to read this thread from the beginning and I'm up to Decker's 2nd brick which was more brickish than the first

Ugh. Good times. I'd kinda forgotten.
March PS Plus Extra has some good games added including an extreme rarity -- a Day 1 launch game. I remember someone here said they were really looking forward to it - Tchhia

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20
I started playing Switchback on the VR2 today, and WOWWWWWWWW. It is absolutely incredible. Just the rollercoaster feel alone is crazy, but then add in all the horror elements and it's insane. SO worth the $40 it's not even funny. Can't say enough good about it, 100% recommended, but as this review says, it is not for the faint of heart. (I haven't had any VR dizzy/vertigo/etc. issues with other games, but this one pushed me to my limits, in a good way.)
The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR doesn’t pull any punches. Each level is a downright terrifying string of nightmare-inducing setpieces, disturbing encounters with grotesque foes, and frightening jumpscares that’ll keep your heart in your throat from beginning to end. It’s one of the scariest gaming experiences ever conceived and a must-play for PSVR2 owners.

I don't think anyone that doesn't already own an Xbox is going to buy one for Redfall. Another Elder Scrolls or Fallout is a different story. They're really only shooting themselves in the foot with the console exclusivity on that one, in my opinion.

Surprisingly, Sony has discounted the PS5 God of War console bundle $50 off.

When they make a game exclusive to one system they don't do it because they necessarily think that one game is something that someone is going to buy a system just to play. It's the breadth of the games that a system has and if when you go to buy a new system and you notice that one system has 5+ exclusive games that you want to play over the other system you are more likely going to buy it.

I saw something about Meet Your Maker before. It looks kind of fun.
