I got em, I got em. All downloaded and waiting not to be played. I have exactly 50 games in my collection.

You don't have to downloaded them all. You just have to add them to your library

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

Do we also lose the ability to stream PS3 games? Cause that would blow chunks.

No this only affects the free 20 ps4 games that were given to PS5 owners when they first bought the system. It does nothing to affect PS3 games.

Kayak VR: Mirage is 15% off on PSN right now for PS+ subscribers. So if youíre picking up the PSVR2 and want to save a few bucks on a preorder, there you go!

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

Just curious for those here with a PS5. Do you still have or play with your PS4? Or did you sell it? I honestly haven't played my PS4 in months now that I have the PS5. I have an external storage hard drive hooked up to my PS5, so I can use that to store my PS4 games whether it's disc or digital, so I'm not seeing much of a reason to keep it.

Also, I'm not quite ready to upgrade the internal storage for the PS5, but I know I'll have to eventually at some point. I am currently hovering around 140 GB left and that's simply not enough. The updates to NBA 2K and Madden are killing me. Sports games updates take so much space. Can any of you give me some affordable recommendations for upgrades you can't get off Amazon? I don't know where the storage number starts and how far you can upgrade to.

I sold my PS4. My cousin bought it and the carrying case I bought for it for $150 plus shipping. He lives in Ohio and I shipped it to him. This was in early 2022 though when everything was still hard to come by.

It's mostly used as a 3D Blu-ray player for me now.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

Thanks. I probably should sell it. I have a question. My console originally came with only a 500 GB internal hard drive and I later upgraded it to 2 TB. Will that increase the value if I should sell it at Gamestop?

And again any suggestions about the PS5 internal storage upgrade?

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

I kept my PS4. The PS5 is connected in the living room, currently used by my wife for Horizon Forbidden West and the PS4 is installed in my study, where I'm playing Far Cry 3 at the moment.

Not only will it NOT increase the value, they could refuse to buy it from you. Has to be back to original specs for them. I had to put my old HDD back in first.
Has to include all the original parts including the HDMI cable

Sold my PS4 Pro to a very nice fella. I had no PS4 games that weren't backwards compatible, so had no need to keep it.

Also, I'm not quite ready to upgrade the internal storage for the PS5, but I know I'll have to eventually at some point. I am currently hovering around 140 GB left and that's simply not enough. Most important thing is that it meets the minimum spec. That is, as long as you search for pcie gen4x4 m.2 nvme ssd, you should be fine. You'll want a heat sink on it, so if you find one that doesn't come with that, you'll have to shell out a few extra bucks for a kit. Installing it is pretty easy... pop off one of the side panels of the system, open up the SSD cover, slide it in and tighten the screw.
For size, go for the biggest you can afford. Prices have come down quite a bit, so a 1TB is maybe just over $100, whereas a 2TB may be just over $220-ish.
You can check slickdeals or cheapassgamer for deals that pop up if you're not in a rush to get something.

I don't know if it's still the case but I was impressed by how much I got for my ps4 when I sold it.

Speaking of which, this seems like a pretty good deal...

I gave it to my kids to use in their room the day that I hooked up the PS5. I use the PS5, and I still play PS4 games on it. There was no reason to keep the PS4 for me.
