Got the purple controler, now got to get matching shell. tmnt cowabunga will be here next week. Looking forward to deadspace and re4. Is the gta trilogy only on ps4? i figure gran turismo is the best racing game, but are there any other ones that are worth it? |

Divine Knock out is a new Free-To-Play brawler game though, so that seems like a weird selection for the third game.

At some point you are going to have to show us a better look at this room/setup so we can understand your justification of the angled components.

Honestly, the white on the edges on those grips bothers the crap out of me ever time I see this image posted, and as "self diagnosed OCD", I'm surprised that it doesn't bother you as well.
Also, I don't really like the way the light purple goes with it. I don't need grips, but if I was forced to use them, I probably would have gone with something contrasting, like the neon green. |

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20
So, now that I have both systems, what are the advantages of getting a game for XBSX or the PS5? Is it just a matter of comfort with one system or another? I mean I feel need to get most games for XBSX bc I’ve had it longer and got used to it, the controller, the games. I do like the menus and home screens better.
So, for multi console owners…why do you buy non exclusives on one system vs. the other? |
Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20
There are several reasons I buy just about every non-exclusive on the PS5 rather than my XSX. The PS5 has much less expensive system memory so it's where I want to store my games. Most of the friends I play with, play on the PS5.
I really like the force feedback of the Dual Sense controller. Really feels next-gen as opposed to the XSX controller that is just old-fashioned vibration. The Sony 3D Surround headset for the PS5 is miles better than any standard XSX headset (which for some stupid reason doesn't even mute the TV when you turn it on). |
Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20
That’s a really great answer. I have been thinking more about getting games on PS5 just because I think the reasons you mentioned, but I haven’t even used it much yet. Couple hours only thus far and with new games, like Callisto Protocol or Midnight Suns, I’m wondering which I should actually get them for.

So, for multi console owners…why do you buy non exclusives on one system vs. the other? I cannot quote or give input on the XBox Series X since I don't have one; just PS5....but I will say I've seen many say, even on Steam Forums, the ideal Gaming Setup would be PC and PS5. Even over there they praise the Exclusives of Sony/PS5/PS4, the Dual Sense Controller and PS5 in general...but still much prefer PC that has access to XBox Pass, Steam, Epic, etc....The XBox Game Pass with crossplay while still able to access Steam & Epic is huge which is why I've held off getting a XBox Series X and instead looking for a PC. But there have been a lot of PC games go over to XBox that PS5 will. probably never have...and a lot of PC games that will stay PC. While at same time the "Day One Exclusives" for XBox pass could've saved me a lot; Back4Blood, Outriders, Weid West, Elder Scrolls DLC, the new Warhammer Darktide (not on PS5), getting Atomic Heart (looks awesome and must for Bioshock Fans) and Redfall...and of course Starfield will be Day One.... For me, the M.S & Bethesda Deal is a huge swing...which Sony and PlayStation Players have not really seen the true effect but it's coming. Starfield will be the next huge MMORPG and Playstation is going to be left out and frankly will have nothing to compete with it....but that's not all Bethesda has with Fallout, Doom, Elder Scrolls all which has been huge with PS Players...and all the next chapters will probably be XBox/PC exclusives. Plus a story last week a huge team has been working on a "New Project" for last 4yrs...we're due for a new Fallout and I cringe at the thought of not on PS5 as well as Elder Scrolls 6 which is coming......so while the Hardware War is one thing, it's actually about the games themselves which both have pros & cons and offset each other.... |

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20
Essentially five free games this month. The three good Mass Effect games, Biomutant, and whatever Divine Knockout is. Still a very good month.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20
I apologize if I asked before, but is there a big difference between keeping your console in rest mode or completely off? I mean doesn’t it make sense to put in rest so it can auto-update? Or will it just update when turn on from fully turned off? Is it just a matter of power consumption?

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20
Makes sense. Though we’ve never had a power surge where I am. Blackouts sure, but nothing like on and then off. Well, maybe once, but nothing happened to Xbox when it’s always been in rest, but I get what you’re saying and it’s pretty smart idea. I do like the orange glow though.
