Why on those original games some you can install and some only stream? Does that mean if a classic game is available stream you have to stream every time? You don’t lose progress and achievements, right?

which is best of the old Ratchet & Clank games? I thought I remember hearing about one of the later ones, but name escapes me.

The PS3 architecture was pretty unique. It's been found to be nearly impossible to emulate on the other systems. The original run of PlayStation 4 had a separate PS3 chip that was added so they could play PS3 games, subsequently they removed that. So the only way to play those PlayStation 3 games now is either have a ps3, one of those original ps4s, or have this PlayStation Plus premium subscription level that allows for streaming. The PlayStation 1, PS2, and PS4 games can all be played and downloaded on the ps5. They can also be streamed via the PlayStation Plus premium account. And yes your progress does get saved even if you're playing a streaming game on the system.

You can't really go wrong with any of those PS3 ones. They're all pretty close. Up Your Arsenal, Quest For Booty, Going Commando. There was one Tower Defense based one that I didn't like at all, I forgot the name of that. But the regular ones, they're all great.

Are you thinking of the PS3 with the PS2 Emotion Engine chip? I've never heard anything like that about the PS4.

Oh maybe I got confused there. I think that you are right. These generations blend together after so many years.

I still have my PS3 handy and can just play 'em directly. But if there were remasters or remakes, with bells and whistles that set them apart from the original releases, I'd be all over that.

Nothing wrong with that; Iíve done it myself. People may have forgotten all their tips, though.

Astro’s Playroom is one of the best PS5 game that people should be playing more. And is free with the console.

And by the way, grab these if you are concerned about grip, they are great:

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

I got these. They will be perfect since purple. I don’t like the idea of sticky adhesive on shiny new controller, but I def need grips. I also hope I’m not a spaz when trying to put them on, which some complained about.

Oh.

Anyone else use grips and can attest to its better handle and ease of install?

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

Everything is aligned perfectly symmetrical to one another. I wanted it to face direction of seating area. And this was taken before I hid wires. Those are a little more tucked away. But, all components perfectly align. Why is it sad?

Why do you want it to face the seating area? It just looks all out of whack.

Nah. Trust me I’m anal about this stuff. It’s hard to tell in pic but they are all in sync an do look well as placed. Hard to describe.

Return that shit. You absolutely don't need them ruining the look of that gorgeous controller. The Dual Sense controllers are just perfect as is.
Never ever had a "grip" issue.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

I’ve been playing around Astro’s and it is slippery as hell. I got the purple grip. I think it’ll be a perfect blend. Trust me I wouldn’t want to ruin that beaut of a controller.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

I probably won’t used raised thumbsticks. Just the handle grips, I think, will make a noticeable difference.
