Is that a drive that needs to be installed or is there a port on the PS5 digital console to plug it into?

You have to install it. It痴 pretty easy though.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

Man, I spent just under a grand for the system and everything I got for it. Including, games, SSD, HDD, hdmi switch and PlayStation plus premium. Fuck that’s a lot in just under 24 hours.

Make sure you bought a HDMI switch that can do HDR. I was looking for one and they were expensive. I ended up just swapping out inputs and cables between my Switch and PS5.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

I bought this one below. But, no need worry about HDR as I’m not 4K compatible yet.

No 4K tv for your PS5 and Xbox? You should definitely start out with the first God of War and Horizon then if you're gaming in HD.

sure I do, but still clinging to my Sony 3D tv for now. When that goes, then most likely. Plus, I think I spent enough this weekend.

That’s what I’m saying. If it ain’t broke… But, once this goes I’m hoping there’s a 3D/4K tv, but I won’t hold my breath. I’ll upgrade at some point. I just hate to do away with all my 3D Blus.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves edition is better than the Nathan Drake Collection, right?

And this is the installable SSD I need, right?

thanks to all for depleting my bank account. 😜

but seriously, made the decision very easy and I appreciate, truly, all the posts.

Really looking forward to these exclusives, which to me, seems much more abundant on PS5 than XBOX. And what comes from XBOX isn’t nearly as highly rated as most of PS5 exclusive franchises.

so, I have Rift Apart to start I think or maybe 2018 GoW, but already building a nice library. Rift Apart, Spider-Man and Miles Morales. Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy, both Horizons, and Detroit: Become Human, which I just remember that I thought it looked cool if I’m remembering correctly.

Any other exclusives in the above vein I should look out for? I know many like Ghosts of Tushima sp? but I’m not into the soulsbourne games.

Pretty sure I知 going with God of War (2018). IGN gave it a 10 and the game just looked stunning. I want this epic to be first played on new console.

I think the gaming sweet spot is having a gaming PC and a PS5. Everything pretty well covered.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

I keep trying to fight the urge to go from a 65 inch OLED to the 83. My wife gives me the stink eye every time I admire it at Costco. That could be the start of a great divorce thread:

Probably going to get a divorce… but the picture is so clear!

We have a 65 OLED in the bedroom too. That one we got in 2018. The one in the front room is a 65 OLED we got last year. If the 83 drops to $2500 I might jump on it.
