It's always good to have a reminder when they're available to download though.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

Posting here as well - The PlayStation Summer sale has added some more titles. I picked up SpiderMan:MM for $29.99 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for $23.99.

I’m on the fence for Ghosts of Tsushima: Director’s Cut for $49.69. Worth it? I’m wondering if I should just hold out until it has a bigger discount.

^ All three games are included as part of PS Plus Extra.
I love Ghost of Tsushima and the PS5 version with expansion is amazing, but yeah, at this point, if you aren't going the PS Plus Extra route I would wait for a better sale.

I just checked Amazon and yea, it's $50 there to...normally $70......I platinum the game and hands down in my Top 5 All-Time games. It's worth every penny and you really cannot find a flaw....the maps, visuals nothing short of stellar, combat mechanics and the story and side stories are flat out good. You get the second expansion along with Legends which was quite fun. i regret not playing it more but basically two parts; one team up with another for a two-player mission(s) and the other was Four Player that was like a Mobile Defense...both quite challenging yet fun. For everything you get, I mean $50 is not really bad considering nowadays some new PS5 Games are going for $70 anyways and that's the normal version......could wait but I don't see that dropping under $40 anytime soon, at least the Director's Cut....

I started Ghost of Tsushima about a week ago, currently 14 hours into it. Love it. Great story so far, absolutely amazing grapics (so much so that my 60 year old dad commented how amazing it looks) and fun combat. I would say its def worth picking up.

I had this problem. I had to switch accounts, under my son's account I installed D+ on the internal SSD and it worked after that.

Well... it was weird, but I got it fixed...despite no app anywhere on the PS5 Storage...internal, NVMe SSD and even USB External, was still showing installed. So then I decided to check my PS4 and sure enough it was there. So deleted it and disconnected the external to be safe since that is where the App was and bingo, let me install......on a side note, getting that code they send to register is a tricky deal since there are multiple sites that have....DisneyPlus/Begin....they reword it slightly and you get steered to something that looks legit but isn't

Ghost of Tsushima is one of the rare games I paid full price for, and I finished it then finished it again on New Game+. Then I played the expansion as well. Great game.

doubtful anyone (but me) cares, so not worthy of its own thread. But Phantasy Star Online 2 is finally coming to PS4 in the west, 8/31.

My wife plays, she alternately runs it on the XSX in the bedroom or her souped up rig in the living room. (where the PS5 is).

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

Another PS5 queue is opening

I guess it's super easy now to get a console.

Looks like everyone who wanted a console at this forum has gotten one.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

Yeah, we got ours a while back and to be honest it gets most of its use as a DVD/Blu-ray player.

The XSX in the bedroom is mainly used as a media player, but we buy them knowing they are multi-functional machines so I don't feel too bad about it.

Have they been showing up in stores yet? I don't make it out to retail very often, and generally skip the electronics sections when I do.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

If youíre in the market for a ridiculously fun party game (bonus points if youíre a sucker for tokusatsu or Evangelion homages), I highly recommend GigaBash. Controversially, the controls and play style are way more my speed than Super Smash Bros., and Iím a fan of the Mayhem mode which changes the gameplay away from just ďdestroy the other guysĒ.

So many kaiju games coming out makes my heart swell. Thanks for the recommendation, this wasn't even on my radar. Though now I'm tempted to check if it works on steam deck...

Just to follow up on this, I finally got the drive, which was extremely easy to install, and it's the best thing I've purchased for the PS5 so far. I pretty much went through and installed absolutely every free game I'd grabbed since getting the PS5 and it's not even half-filled, and it gave me a chance to finally actually play some of those games. Highly recommended.

Yeah, especially with the size of games, it's ridiculous to me how little storage there is on these by default. I get that the new technology is expensive (and thankfully getting cheaper) and that you can rotate games, but man buying a 2TB for relatively cheap really brought me back to the PS5 and buying new games for it.
